One of the school I have applied to is requesting my law school report through the LSAC, but my I put on my application I would be taking the LSAT in November. I also took the test in October but I have not checked the score yet because didn’t want to give my self any additional unnecessary stress after a really bad burn out episode right before the October LSAT. Because of this I don’t know what the score is and I don’t plan on checking until after I take the November 12th LSAT. Should I release the law school report now? wait until after the Nov LSAT test day? Or wait until Nov LSAT scores are released (Dec 1st)?

Also, will I have to pay the fee to release the report with each school? And will I have to pay it again once my Nov LSAT score is out?

Hey! I just had the same question and called LSAC. I wrote my LSAT in August, and I am rewriting in November as well. I’m also applying to Ontario law schools.

They told me that once you pay to release your score to the school, any new scores will automatically be sent as well with no fee. So for me, I am paying the fee today, since schools will get my current LSAT score, and will also get the new one automatically with no additional fee.

    Hope this helps!

I did not consider these things when I released the report. I am writing again in January, and I indicated that on my application. A lot of Ontario schools take your highest score, so i just assumed it didn't matter if i released it now.. but I have no idea... following bc I'd like to hear other peoples experience w this ! I also didn't pay anything; was I supposed to? Nothing prompted me to. OLSAS charges a fortune, imo, so I assumed if there was a fee, it was covered there, but what do I know LOL

@ANP I also thought everything would have been covered in that ridiculous OLSAS fee but this morning I woke up to an email from LSAC saying that Windsor U requesting my law school report to see my LSAT score. The cost is $45 and is paid through LSAC

@Canadiangurl Oh, that's good to know, thank you! I know that when I look at my report, the Jan test is there, so I'm hoping they get the most up-to-date version, and we only have to pay once. Fingers crossed !
