michigan says they prefer three letters. i'm one year out of college. i have two strong academic from professors in my senior year. should my third letter be another academic from a professor from my sophomore year? or someone that supervised an internship last summer? (i cannot get a letter from my current job) i have heard from yale specifically that they strongly discourage internship letters. so would a third academic be best here? i would love to get @JacobBaska's thoughts on this - thank you so much!

Since you already have two academic letters of rec, it'd be nice to have a professional one. But I also wouldn't overthink it or worry about it either way!
