  • I was just in Spotting the Gap with Bailey and it was legitimately disturbing. I'm so deeply disappointed and frustrated that someone would take the time out of their day to ruin everyone else's learning experience. I really hope 7Sage tech team can get this handled so nothing like that can happen again. I feel like my studying for the entire day has been thrown off by that insanity.

Hey everyone, I'm so sorry that this happened. We own this - it's our job to keep Live a great place to learn the LSAT, and part of that is making sure that you can focus on the LSAT and study without worrying about stupid distractions.

We're working on hardening our Live sessions to make it harder for instigators to get access in the first place, and to make sure that they can't cause this kind of damage if they do manage to get in.

We really appreciate your patience and support as we deal with this. We're taking extra precautions for the rest of today, and we'll be making sure our instructors know how to handle problems quickly and decisively if they do show up.

Yesterday, an unauthorized user hacked into two of our Live classes, used a racial slur and shared explicit videos. We shut the classes down, but not before students were exposed to it.

To everyone who was in those classes: I’m sorry. You came to work on the LSAT, and you were subjected to something vile instead. That should never happen in a 7Sage classroom. We’ve reached out to each of you individually to make sure you’re okay. If for any reason you didn’t receive a message from us, please let me know.

I’m angry that our security measures were not sufficient to stop this. It’s crucial to me that 7Sage be a safe place to study.

We spent the day strengthening the security of our systems and giving our instructors new tools to shut down disruptions like this if they ever happen again. We are also gathering evidence to share with other LSAT prep companies to help them protect their students, and with LSAC and law enforcement so they can take appropriate action.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to studentservice@7sage.com and it will come straight to our team. We’re here to listen.

  • I attended the Spotting the Gap class today as well, and after witnessing that, I feel pretty thrown off in my studying. Disappointing & immature behavior on the instigator's part.

I don't know but I am pissed at whomever was behind it. We're all here to learn.

someone at a university told me that their zoom classes have all been moved to microsoft. I think zoom is being hacked right now in general.

My goodness. What happened? I hope they get that fixed. Very disturbing when people are genuinely trying to learn

@Tajaa59319 someone porn bombed both this and an earlier live class. Both instructors had to just shut it down completely.
