I chose C which does strengthen the argument, but it's too strong.

D is the correct choice because it is absolutely necessary that there are some films still in their original nitrate form that need to be transferred in order to know that some will be lost... since those in their original form won't be able to be transferred and therefore preserved.

If there were none in there original form there would be none to be lost.

Keep in mind on these types of questions to "justify" we are able to add a new piece of info to the argument that would help strengthen. We are not merely trying to summarize or rephrase the argument or conclusion.

I missed the boat on this one... considered C momentarily, then went with A... D is the right answer lol. Review for understanding.

Was tempted by trap answer D. Make sure to carefully read the question asking to justify the reasoning and tie the specific reasoning to the answer which aligns perfectly with E.

Almost got trapped by answer choice A. However, D is correct because of the word "value" matching back to the conclusion.

Good news. You got this one right pretty easily and it's a level 5 question. Even scorers with 175 had a 25% chance of getting this wrong. Good for you! Friendly reminder that you got this, keep pushing :)
