I switched over to 7Sage after completing Testmasters about a week ago and so far the only big difference I've seen has been to read the question stem first which I will do, but I was wondering if anyone has any advice about going through the Core Curriculum again. I'm scoring a 158 and a 170 BR which is my target score. I have difficulty with timing and getting through all of Reading Comp (two to three passages total) so I wanted to try the recording technique I've read about a few times in the discussion. I wanted to know if I should skip around the CC to the reading comp parts or if I should just go through everything in order. I started studying in October (scored a 141) and my test is in July. Everything seems redundant and I don't know if I'm wasting time I could be spending on actual testing conditions (controlling my anxiety and nerves under timed conditions).

I’m in! I’m living in Miami though! Im taking the July test and my goal is a 170+ as well. I started at a 141 and peaked at 158 but I’m hoping I’ll get there since I’m studying full time now.
"EQUAL TIME: Everyone's screen froze and started at the same time. Everyone got the exact 35 minutes, and you didn't have to worry about filling the scranton as you got closer to your 5 minutes. That equals to almost 3 minutes additional for each section! "
By this do you mean that there's an automatic fill option if you're unable to complete a section? The digital LSAT makes me nervous because I hate looking at a timer during the last 5 minutes in LR and I usually end up having to fill in the last 5 as the proctor calls time so I'm afraid I'll miss that opportunity.

Yep. That LG was the hardest one I’ve ever seen. The rest was pretty normal. I normally miss 0-3 on LG and I only got through 18 questions today. Miffed.
Was this because of the flower game? Do you remember how many questions it had by any chance?

@ yes
Did you have three LR or two?
Did anyone have an LR question about athletic programs being influenced by environmental factors like family life?

Was the 8 sequencing one where 3=6 and 1=4 real?
No, the one with the flowers and kittens/puppies was real. Does anyone remember how many questions the flower game had? I know there were 23 LG questions total

To those who take the test today, I wanted to ask if the tools for highlighting and underlining were easy to use for the RC. Were you provide scratch paper to make the lo res summaries for the reading comp? How easy was it the diagram to the arguments for LR?
Highlighting- easy to use.
You get a booklet of scratch paper for the entire test, it's more than enough if you use front and back. diagramming is the same as normal.
Does anyone remember how many questions the flower game had? I'm trying to estimate my score

Was the RC w the passage about bacteria surviving in the sea real?

I still have not received my score. anyone else??
Did you ever receive your score? I still don’t have mine...not gonna lie I’m kinda mad.
Check your LSAT Registration status. Mine wasn't emailed to me until around 10 am but I had checked the website at 9 am.
No I don’t think the literal interpretation holds in all cases, sorry. It really depends on how you interpret it, it helped me to slow down and think of it as the opposite of the issue at hand. In this example it’s saying that while an increase in the minimum wage usually entails the company’s profit to decrease, it is not the case since they would offset that effect by reducing the amount of people that work there (aka firing a bunch of people).
Not sure if this always holds, but someone told me that it's logically possible to replace "otherwise" with "if not" to make the sentence easier to understand
I would take it January instead of October if those are your options. if there’s one thing I regret it’s taking the lsat before I was averaging the score I wanted. There’s also test day factors like anxiety or construction outside your building that sometimes results in scoring below your testing average. I would wait if it were me.
@ Yeah LG is my strength when I manage to get through the whole section, definitely my favorite to BR. I've gone through a good amount of tests so far and someone suggested taking two a week in the month leading up to the test with intense BR. I was also going to record myself taking the tests so that would also take longer to review. How many PTs would you recommend before the test in July?
@ Yeah that's what I do! It takes me about 5 minutes to read the passage and 5-7 minutes to answer the questions. While I'm reading, I try to think of what the questions will ask. By comprehending as opposed to analyzing do you mean I should focus less on that?
Thank you both! I'm studying full time now so I'm aiming to finish CC by the June test and PT until the July test, I'm just trying not to burn out again. I figured I'd take July since I could cancel my score while also getting a feel of the test, but September might be my best bet at getting a 170. Do you have any tips on finishing RC on time by any chance? @ @ @
Does anyone know where to find the elaborate spreadsheet he was talking about?
I would love a study buddy! I keep trying to study but then I start cleaning or watching Netflix #help
Hi! Wondering how everything worked out since I’m facing the same score gap between my actual score and blind review score
