Not sure why you'd make this change before implementing an "All Notes" function. Regardless of whether someone used this feature or not, it didn't add any clutter. Now, for those who used the Notes tab for things outside of specific lessons, we simply can't. I would use this section for rough notes on miscellaneous tasks, thought processes, or things I wanted to clean up before formally adding them. Now, all of that has simply been deleted because it wasn't tied to a specific lesson.

I see this as a mild inconvenience for some users and irrelevant to others, so I'm not really sure what problem this change was intended to solve.
