Hi y’all!
Looking for people in the Dallas area to study alongside on weekends, in person. Not a class or a group lesson, just a set time and place to show up, work on our own stuff, and help each other out when someone’s stuck.
Where I’m at: low 160s, goal is 171+, testing February 2027. Working through the 7Sage Comprehensive study plan.
What I’d be working on: the study plan, drills, blind review, and law school application materials.
When: Saturday and Sunday, a few hours each. Mornings work best for me but I’m open.
Where: somewhere with tables and decent wifi. I’m in North Dallas, so anywhere around Dallas, Plano, Addison, Frisco, Garland would be good. Open to suggestions.

I’m looking for a tutor to work with once a week from September through January.
Where I’m at: testing February 2027, goal is 171+. Two official takes, 157 and 159. Best PT is a 163 with a 170 blind review, average 154. I have a 150% time accommodation. I took the summer off and I’m just getting back into it.
What I need: formal logic, mostly. Conditional reasoning is at 58%, and diagramming, must be true, quantifiers, and sufficiency vs necessity are all around 50%. A conditional drill at 150% time came back at 53%, so it isn’t timing. I don’t have a method.
RC is the other one. Around 20/27 and flat for a year, even though I finish with 15 to 20 minutes left on the clock.
My setup: 7Sage Live, Comprehensive study plan, about 13 hours a week. Mornings before work plus weekends.
What I’m looking for: one hour a week, Friday evenings if possible, September through January. I’m in Central time. Budget is $50/hr. Experience with accommodated testers is a plus.

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a tutor to help me break into the 170s. I recently took a practice test and scored a 163, with a 170 on blind review, so I know the score is in there and I just need help closing the gap.
I’m currently studying 30 minutes to an hour, five days a week, and I’m looking to meet with a tutor once a week for an hour. My target test date is later this year, though I’m willing to push it back until I’m consistently hitting my goal range.
I do have an LSAC fee waiver, so I’m hoping to find someone with lower rates or who offers a discount.

Hi, I have 3 questions about D based on the analysis I did:
Sentence 1 says most of the lecturers who are effective teachers are eccentric. D says most of the lecturers who are good communicators are eccentric. Is the rule that the "most" can't carry over from the first group to the second because they're two different groups?
I eliminated D by building a case where the stimulus is true and D is false. Is that the right elimination test on must-be-true?
Is there a faster cue in D itself that would let me eliminate it without working through the numbers below? This took me a long time and I couldn't have done it timed.
Analysis:
Sentence 1, first half: among lecturers who are effective teachers, the eccentric ones are a subset filling over half.
Sentence 1, second half: at least one lecturer who is not eccentric is an effective teacher.
Sentence 2: effective teachers are a subset of good communicators, and I don't know what fraction they fill.
D: among lecturers who are good communicators, the eccentric ones are a subset filling over half.
Why I think D is wrong:
The only lecturers who are good communicators that I know anything about are the ones who are effective teachers. The rest of that group is never described, so I can't know what fraction of the whole group is eccentric. Depending on how big that rest is and who's in it, D could turn out true or false. Since the stimulus doesn't tell me, I can't deduce it.
Example:
Say there are 100 lecturers who are good communicators:
If 60 are effective teachers and 51 of them are eccentric, that's 51 percent of the 100, so D is true.
If 60 are effective teachers and 31 of them are eccentric, that's still most of the 60, but only 31 percent of the 100, so D is false.
If 30 are effective teachers and 29 of them are eccentric, that's still most of the 30, but only 29 percent of the 100, so D is false.
Conclusion:
The stimulus gives me neither number, so I can't tell which case I'm in. So D isn't guaranteed.
