When you finish a PT, examine each of your wrong answers, write out exactly where your thinking was ( if you switched from right to wrong, what enticed your about the trap answer). For ones that you get wrong in BR and timed, examine them heavily until it makes sense, this is what helped me a lot! For me a big issue was I would not trust my gut and switch to a trap answer, examining your thought pattern will help you! You have the logic as you can see in BR! It is now just about trusting your gut in timed PTs. You can ask sage AI what patterns it notices in your wrong answers - this is how I figured out what flaws to work on!

I thought this question was quite easy on my initial take: when I received incorrect and re-did it on blind review, I ended up selecting the same answer - B

Now that I have examined it the answer is quite simple and makes complete sense if you understand the conditional relationship.

To be just, two requirements must be satisfied, it is necessary to have an equal right to basic liberties, and inequalities in the distribution of income and wealth are not tolerated UNLESS these inequalities are to everyone's advantage and are attached to jobs open to everyone.

In going through the answer choices,

A:

A satisfies R, A, but not OJ, so it cant be just, the key is that jobs are open to MOST people not everyone so this cannot be just - if it said everyone this would be correct

B: This was the answer trap I fell for:

B satisfies R and does not satisfy I, so it should not be just, but this conclusion cannot be made because we do not have support for the conclusion. The UNLESS (A and OJ) is not provided information, so we do not have enough information to make this conclusion.

C:

C satisfies I with A and OJ but mentions nothing for R, so I would immediately remove this as it does not satisfy both conditionals to be just

D:

D is the correct answer, It is important to understand the conditions necessary to be just

the society needs to have equal rights

AND

no inequalities unless BOTH to everyones advantage and jobs are open to all

D satisfies I but not R so it cannot be just, and we have direct support for this in the stimulus.

E:

E satisfies R and I with OJ but not A, because both are not explicitly mentioned as satisfied, we cannot be sure that the society is just.

Overall, it makes a lot of sense; I was surprised at the % of students who will get this correct, as once you break it down, it is actually much simpler than most level 5s.
