I am also reapplying, from the research I’ve done, you should try to write a new essay or improve your current one. They will still have your old essay so writing a new one just allows admissions to know even more about your candidacy

1:30 should be fine! Usually doesn’t take too long to check in and you can start testing early if they get you in quick.

Personal statement topic

Hi, wondering which personal statement route to take. On one hand I can write about my legal experience and why law school is my next professional step, or I can right something about one of my hobbies and transform it into something that tells my story in a totally different and creative way. Is there a preference for admissions?

Letter of Rec help

I just received a letter of recommendation from my supervisor. It’s three paragraphs. 1st is about our organization, 2nd is about my specific role, 3rd is my traits that would be good for being an attorney. Is this typical? I don’t know what to expect from a letter of recommendation, I want to be sure they are all as strong as they can be. Any insights?

My understanding is to apply earlier and then have CAS send update to the schools. They won’t look at your application until the new score is in but it might put you up higher in the application review queue.

LSAT score Addendum?

Hi, I’m wondering if I should write an addendum to address my LSAT score, I’ve taken it 3 times, jumping from a 156, 160, and finally 165. I might even take it one more time in September to improve even more. I took the first test 2 years ago and didn’t really take it seriously. My most recent I was able to get while working full time! Should I address this on my applications?

@businessgoose I’ve sent locis but what other contact could there be? I’m not really sure how this process goes as I’ve been figuring it out on my own.

🙃 Confused

Retest or commit to school?

Hi, wondering if I should retest and reapply or start school in the fall. Here are my stats

160 lsat, 3.86 ugpa, 4.0 masters in human rights gpa and currently working with crime victims. First gen student and urm.

I got waitlisted to BC, BU, Columbia, Northeastern, and Brooklyn

I have a scholarship that covers nearly all tuition at a T100 school and I’d like to go into public interest law. I feel like I could do better than this school but I’m not sure if I want to delay law school further. Any advice?
