Hi everyone! Trying to do less doomscrolling and more reading during my free time, as many have said it helped them keep their brain working even when not actively studying for the lsat. Any interesting/favorite reads anyone can recommend? I haven’t read for leisure in a while! Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to go into international law and did an extensive research project on Israel/Palestine. Obviously, this is a controversial topic, and my topic was more focused towards the Palestinian issue, but my research allowed me to work both with faculty from both backgrounds, as well as interview people in the region from both backgrounds. I feel that it gave me a perspective in working in a conflict zone, on a topic that impacts both peoples, showed how both peoples worked together, and allowed me to show how international conflicts are not always binary - and we should focus on the issues that impact people rather than assign people certain perspective based on their background or treat it as a one side vs the other. The project also earned a few awards at my undergrad institution.

Should I write about this or is it too risky (would admissions officers make assumptions)? Does it address the point of a diversity statement? The only other topic I can think of is a more generic underrepresented minority topic. Any thoughts would be very much appreciated!

I graduated in June and have been struggling to land a full time position. I have applied to over 150 jobs across both legal and non-profit work since March, and am struggling. In the meantime, I have continued volunteering with an org. I was with during undergrad for a few hours a week and am working on turning my thesis into an article for publishing, helping my family with their small business, while also focusing on the LSAT. I am aiming for T-25s and will be applying once November LSAT scores are released - I know I am already at a disadvantage with timing. How much of a disadvantage am I at for not obtaining a full time position? Should I indicate that I am seeking one as an addendum? Does helping my family out with their small business in the service industry count as work? This is all weighing on my heavily and making me question if I should even bother applying this year. Hi all! Panicked this morning reading everyones August experience/scores and took my first ever timed PT. It was PT 141, and I got a 165, -9 RC, -5 LR, -1LR. My previous Pt’s untimed were 168, 164, and 162, and diagnostic was a 153 about two months ago. My LR scores usually vary from -1 -6 timed (with a few outliers on bad days), and RC is -8-11 timed, with -2-3 untimed. 

I am signed up for October/November, with hopes to get the test done in October so I could apply earlier. I am aiming for a 170-173,  for lower t-14s/t-20s ( I am above their 75th percentile GPA for all).

Any tips on what to do at this point? I was doing the 5-6 hour study plan with a mix of drills and sections everyday, 6 days a week, but found myself getting burnt out. Should I focus solely on drills for my weakest points for the next week or two? Should they be timed or untimed? Mix in any timed sections? Any advice would be highly appreciated!

Also, I already WAJ by screenshotting the questions/answers, then writing out explanations on identifying premise and conclusion, and why the right answer is right and the others are wrong, with a note on what I should do next time/key takeaway. I find myself slacking/overwhelmed on reviewing these because there's so many questions and such long explanations for each. Any tips on how to make my WAJ/Review more effective? Should the WAJ be reviewed everyday?
