Sometimes when I break these down mechanically it makes it difficult other times intuition takes over. Anyone else have the same issue?

Don't get discouraged seeing everyone else say" 5/5", "easy"or other bs, just keep grinding and learnthese indicator words. You will be fine. I was where you all were and it slowly starts to click.

quality being compared = Which one has a lower percentage of adult males?

Western lake has the lower percentage of adult males= Winner

not because having less adult males is automatically good its just in this "world" the western lake has a smaller pop.

When they say which one is the winner that means what "quality" matches up with the characteristics being compared. Hope this helps

@anjjredd yes anything to the right of the arrow is considered to be the necessary condition. But it's all in relation. So in A->B->C "B" is the necessary condition in relation to "A" but it is sufficient condition in relation to "C" since its the -> arrow pointing to "C". I read it in a comment I try to remember it as SUN. Sufficient, arrow is the "U" and "N" is the necessary condition.
