#feedback the question explanation from ZaiboonAzhar seems to be for another question involving similar content.

Active duty here! I’ll be applying this upcoming cycle, so unfortunately I don’t have any advice on the admissions side of things yet. However, when it comes to studying, I’ve basically made studying part of my job.

I get off work at 3 p.m. every day, give myself about a 30–40 minute break to decompress, grab something to eat, change out of my uniform, and then lock in for about three hours (Monday–Friday). Rest is important to avoid burnout, so I usually take Saturdays off and pick things back up on Sunday, which is typically my longest study day (around 3–5 hours).

I understand every AFSC/MOS is different, and your job might not give you the same flexibility, or even leave you with the mental energy to study at the end of the day, but treating studying as "part of my job" has really worked for me.

I even study in my work office because, even though my husband is incredibly supportive and has taken on a lot of extra responsibilities around the house so I can focus on studying, I know that if I studied at home, I’d feel guilty, get sidetracked, and my studies would suffer.

I hope this approach helps! Feel free to message me if you have any other questions or just want to chat.

I enlisted in the military when I was 18 and will be separating next year (April) to attend law school. My academic journey has been exclusively online as I've accomplished my bachelor's and master's through military moves, training and deployments. Both of my degree programs were asynchronous which combined with my work schedule left little to no time to establish meaningful relationships with professors. I have military leaders as well as government civilians who are more than willing to write LORs.

Would that be enough or would it hinder my application not having LORs from professors? In addition, how do admissions see military service and postgraduate academic degrees? Anything specific they look for within those two categories? Thank you!
