I’m a non-traditional applicant (4 years post-undergrad, 2 years post-MBA) with professional experience in Tribal Government, and I’m also a tribal citizen.

I’m trying to decide between two strong directions for my personal statement: one centered on my professional impact and leadership within tribal government, and another focused on a more personal, formative experience that shaped my perspective and long-term goals.

From an admissions standpoint, how do you evaluate this tradeoff? Does emphasizing professional impact risk sounding like a resume extension, or does focusing on personal narrative risk under-leveraging meaningful work experience?

I have also taken the LSAT 3 times. The first time, I scored a 148. The second time, a 149. After 2 months, I took it again and scored a 157 (higher than any practice test that I had taken at that point). You can do it!
