Unsure if someone has already asked this, but as a student who will have taken multiple years between graduating undergraduate and starting law school, when a law school application asks about "an interruption of six months or more in your education," should we discuss/explain gaps years between undergrad and law school?
Thanks!
I understand that highlighting a "commitment to service" can come across as gimmicky or fall flat with admissions officers, but if service in the form of pro bono work, etc. to aid specific groups in specific areas of law functions as a primary motivation for attending law school (and is backed up by experiences and letters of recommendation), is it okay to make this commitment a focal point of the statement?
