I have several issues with AC C and I would appreciate someone being able to reconcile my view.
Firstly, the AC C states that "certain human concerns and interests arise in ALL of the world's cultures." This seems to be a unsupported jump from the stimulus stating that "storytelling APPEARS to be a universl aspect" of all cultures.
Secondly, the stimulus states a study reveled "common" themes, but this does not support the universal claim posed by AC C. Things can be common but not in all things. for instance, rocks may commonly have copper in them, but that does not mean all rocks have copper.
Is this just an issue of me overthing the question and would the fact that this is a "most supported" question rather than, say, a "must be true" question overturn these concerns?
one thing that I noticed is that the main conclusion of the arguemnt, "Oral traditions are often preferable to written ones," establishes a preference of one thing over another. Just going by PoE, (D) is the only AC that mentions preference.
@NicoleLNess I feel like the key word there would be "originally." we know from the curator's statements that the green was applied first before the red. based on the stimulus, we have to assume that there are no other colors underneith the green. therefore, when the painting was originally painted, the artist did intend to paint it green because... why else would he paint it green? he may have changed his mind to red at some point but who cares, what matters is that when it was "orginally" painted, the cloak was green. Im not an expert but thats the thought-process I used to rule out that answer. Maybe someone more well versed in lawgic could give a better explanation though.
hmmm I would argue that (D) does in fact have an impact - the impact from the large cosmic rock.
@Kevin_Lin it alreay costs 70$ a month, you shouldnt have to pay more to get an explanation that actually makes sense.
@mhann007469 that makes so much more sense, the video explanation left me even more confused.
the argument never says that being in the Disney Vacation Club is the only way to gain access to the fast pass. would it not be a possibility that Walt gained acess to the fast pass through another unmentioned route? Even though Walt is in the DVC, and he has the Genie+ pass, it is plausable he could have gotten the latter independiently, no? the argument requires the assumption that the DVC is the only way to acess the Genie+ pass.
