I do not see how D is correct. Where did we get from in the text that their "environment" was new? Maybe they took the pill and went back to their regular environment to sleep and then came back and reported it. I think we have to make an assumption that their environment is new, and since we should NOT make assumptions on the LSAT, this question gmfu. Would make sense if it was stated that the participants REMAINED at the institute during the entire study.
