HELP Spell Check on Argumentative

Hi all,

I just took my LSAT argumentative writing (a little late...), but noticed that during the exam, my computer was underlining misspelled words and giving me suggestions to edit them.

I didn't even think to turn this off before the test. I have never used Grammarly or any writing tools, so I didn't even think to disable anything.

Did this happen to anyone else? What happened? Help!

How are we supposed to conclude that the opposite of “bland and innocuous” talk shows that air mainstream political opinions are talks shows that are disturbing and controversial? These adjectives don’t match up.

I got so hung up on this because to me, a refuge is a separate, man-made space for animals, NOT a natural habitat!!! And so for me, I couldn’t quite justify how making a man-made refuge equates to protecting natural habitats. I did go with B on my first try, but second-guessed myself on BR. I chose D on BR. As I always forget, these weakening questions need to weaken the link between premise and conclusion. So how can we weaken the fact that because the rate of endangered species continues to rise, efforts to preserve natural habitats is wasted? B gives us proof that the efforts to preserve natural habitats have a positive outcome. The rest of the answers to me are clearly incorrect. So I should have seen through D and went with B despite my fears about “refuge”!

@LSACfunder I mapped all of this out, so how did I get it wrong. I chose A.

I originally chose A, but on BR I chose D. My only reasoning was that A is definitive and nothing in the stimulus is definitive. Therefore D, while worded weirdly and honestly not being the best choice, is the right choice.

Course Of Study Interrupted Q

Hi all,

I was just doing some prep for my essays for this fall when I discovered the “Has your college, university, graduate, or professional school course of study been interrupted for one or more terms for any reason?” question on most apps. My sophomore year of college I withdrew half way through fall semester and went home due to severe depression. I did not return to college until the following fall. Is this going to hurt me? I don’t want schools thinking I’ll drop out… It’s completely out of my control, but I wanted to ask. Thank you!
