I suffered on this question way too long and I think I got it. Here's my take:
- After reading the stimulus, we can say that these eight Craters (which are linear and of different ages) are either Meteorite Craters or Volcanic Craters.
- The argument is trying to prove that these Craters are Volcanic Craters (and not Meteorite Craters)
- Answer choice B says that, these Craters can not be Meteorite Craters, because no natural cause (neither volcanoes nor meteorites) would account for its linearlity and being of different ages.
- Therefore, the hypothesis that these eight Craters are Volcanic Craters is strengthened, because they can not be Meteorite Craters.
AC B strengthened by removing the alternative hypothesis that these Craters are Meteorite Craters.
Please write a "Theory and Approach" lesson like this one, but for Sufficient Assumption 🥹
bro I misread and thought the trade quadrupled, doubled for the first time in 1750 and doubled a second time in 1765
- "Most fad diets prescribe a single narrow range of nutrients for everyone."
- "...different foods contain nutrients that are helpful for treating or preventing different health problems, dietary needs vary widely from person to person."
- Correct AC choice: "Most fad diets fail to satisfy the dietary needs of some people."
What if the range of nutrients prescribed, albeit narrow, already satisfied the dietary need of all people? I thought that the fad diets doesn't care what food you eat, just that you need to eat these specific nutrients.
The stimulus only says that different foods contains nutrients... It does not say that the fad diets prescribe a narrow range of foods.
