I was tripped up by picking answer A rather than answer B. After reviewing, I think that greater emphasis in the explanation should clarify that while Answer choice A would be supported by the author of passage A, the evidence does not directly support answer choice A, and that it does more directly support answer choice B. I agree with markymymarkymark768 that this is a MSS question.
