@Calin I began studying in August 2024 and took my first practice test on December 27, 2024, scoring a 144. I sat for the January LSAT and scored a 145, but I cancelled that result. Afterward, I focused my preparation on the April 2025 exam and saw major improvement. Unfortunately, two days before the test, something unexpected and very disruptive happened. It affected me so much that I considered not taking the exam at all, but I ultimately decided to sit for it and ended up scoring a 145. I don’t talk much about that attempt because I know I was performing in the high 150s to low 160s before everything went wrong.

I applied to ten schools with the 145 but didn’t get accepted, so I kept studying and have continued ever since. Now I’m fully prepared and set for the January 2026 exam. Just to add, I practically study every day since October lol, and I turn to evaluate conversations with others, in fact, my close relatives are fed up with me bringing LSAT evaluation into everything hahahahahaha

@Icandothis Sure it is possible. Just don't give up, don't rush it, understand why an answer is right or wrong and you will definitely get there.

@HappyTestTaker Thank you. Sure, I posted some tips on my earlier post, you can check them out. Also, I met with some colleagues online last evening to teach them some tips, and we practiced a whole LR section and RC section together, which we got 24/25 in the LR and 25/25 in the RC, together. So, you can reach out, and we can fix sometime to meet online too. The more I teach, the more I learn so I'm gladly open to meeting you online.

@LemonDragon you welcome. I use that strategy for every assumption question. But with regards to strengthen/weaken questions, my biggest strategy is identifying the method of reason, (for instance, is it a casual reasoning, correlation???? etc.) to attack those questions. I just saw your message. Will surely be open to talking with you.

@LemonDragon Thank you very much. I will surely prepare every material and ones scores are released, i will submit my application. With regards to your question, my must be true strategy is just like how to handle the standard must be true questions. So when I approach either NA/SA, I always rule out any answer choice that cannot be true based on the stimulus and so far, the only answer that turns out to be true always happens to be correct choice. I've used this strategy with more than 300 questions and its been 100% so far. So first, break the argument to its parts and understand what the argument is saying, you don't need to create principle, just absorb the whole argument and your analysis must be solely on the argument, go to the answer choices, eliminate any choice that cannot be true or unrelated to the argument, so far base on my experience, the correct answer is always "must be true". Try it if it still didn't work for you, we can schedule a zoom call and try it out together.

@LemonDragon I take a lot of physical notes because I believe most of the details are too much or too complex to keep all in the head. With regards to questions that don't come automatically, I do summarize the question to make it simple and tackle it. One of my biggest strengths is reducing the complex statements to simple forms to enable me to understand every detail.

@soleluna883 with regards to time spent on foundational, I spent about 4 months (4 to 5 hours almost every day), thus August 2024 to December 2024. Most of my time was spent on drills using pen and paper (I've tackled close to 1000 drill questions, I'm not sure about the numbers as I use pen and paper but I know I've solved over 800 questions), I always try to break all stimulus into parts, understand the tone and predict answers before moving to answer choices. With regards to RC, I developed a strategy where I always summarize every paragraph in the passage to understand their roles, the authors tone etc. I developed this strategy for assumption questions too, I've not seen it in any book, it's just my strategy which has been working for me so you can also try it; the strategy is I handle all assumption questions as must be true; thus the correct assumption answer must be true according to the stimulus. I used this strategy to replace the negation strategy because the negation strategy has not been working for me that much, but this strategy of tackling the questions as "must be true" has worked 100% for me even with the most complex assumption questions.

@pakistaniellewoods yes. i first summarize every paragraph in the passage to understand their roles. With that, I'm able to automatically answer MP, authors tone, conclusion, paragraph roles etc. before even looking at the questions.

@faustina98 Sure. After my January test where I scored 145, I decided to start all over again, I worked more on accuracy without thinking about time. I did that and tried not to jump any question, I make sure I understand why an answer is right and why an answer is wrong. With regards to my routine, i do 4am to 6:30am and 9pm to 11:30pm, almost everyday though there are days i don't study.
