Regarding the final example here about patterns, the original question stem did not say "each student who attended every class received a grade of b minus or higher." That would've made the question a lot easier. It said "each student who received a grade lower than b minus missed at least one class." Doesn't that leave room for the possibility that some students who missed a class still got a b minus or higher?
