Hey everyone, I just got my August LSAT score and it was a 157. I know, and knew before hand that I will be re-writing again. But just wondering if anyone has any experience or knows anyone who has been admitted in to Canadian law schools. Would a 157 and a 4.0 GPA with good softs make me a potential candidate for any schools? (I know the stats are posted on websites, but am looking for a more personal contact) Just looking for a bit of peace of mind until I can rewrite and get into the 160s

Hi! If you want to gain some extra points quickly, I would focus on drilling the logic games. Take the games that you find difficult or don't finish in the recommended time and keep completing the game (5,10,15 times if necessary) until you can make all inferences and complete the game in the right amount of time. If you are struggling with the SA or MBT questions in LR, strengthening your logic will definitely help with both LG and LR. RC is really difficult to improve on. I try to read actively and stay engaged with the articles while also focusing on the tone and POV of the author. Regarding timing, it's always better to have more time to prepare. But, this test also stinks to study for so it's really preference.
Good luck!
Thank you for your response! I will definitely be taking the advice. haha "this test also stinks to study for" I couldn't relate more. Best wishes to you in your studies. Cheers
With just under three weeks until the August flex, I am persistently testing 156. I have tested higher, and reached my goal of 160 once last week. 160 is my goal, but I can't seem to make it stick. A 156 on flex is really only 4-5 questions off of a 160, but I am struggling to close the gap. Any suggestions on how to get those extra points in the final stretch? My weaknesses continue to be both LG and RC. Wondering if I should reschedule until Oct or give this one a shot (first write). I'd love to hear your experiences with score fluctuations in the final few weeks of study :)
@-1 thanks for the response! I have done all games from tests 1-39 between approx. 1 and five times depending on how many times it takes me to get them all right as well as 12 or so more recent ptests. Hoping this means i will stop seeing 'new' games soon? thanks for the advice :)
Logic games will be the death of me. I go between -8 and -10 on every practice test, even worse on my lowest tests. Yet, even if i do the game section directly after i'm done the practice test without watching explanations or looking at the answers I can typically get them all right even under timed conditions. I have been drilling constantly and this is always the case, once I see the game I'm fine but new ones often send me for a loop. What do i do!! #Help
Prep test 70 is my highest score so far!
