#help While the answer choices make sense to me, I am having difficulty pinning what JY means when he says, "Do not attack the premise." Is anyone else struggling with these instructions/ might have an alternative way of interpreting them?

Please help the history major who has avoided science classes since high school. I understand why B-E are wrong. However, can someone please explain why A is right with 100% certainty?. Hypothetically, if Oxygen 18 is heavier than normal isotope of oxygen and indeed rarer, why is there necessarily MORE ordinary oxygen? Couldn't there be "more" oxygen18 based on weight?
