You’re right - thank you!
I'm interested! Class of 2018 :)
Thank you! I also got the right answer using the logic I outlined - I commented because I want to ensure that the logic I used is 1) valid and 2) applicable to this stimulus/right AC. I’m trying to understand whether my getting the right answer here was a fluke.
Is this a valid way to construct the argument?
A is long distance call through company, B is 10 cents and C is 15 cents
A → B or C
A and /B
Therefore, C
Can someone help me understand how E does not mean /cured -> /M, which then translates to M->cured, which IS the flaw of the argument? I get the "sizeable subgroup" sets component being weird and squishy but wondering if the rest holds.
thank you! Helpful framing re: weaken vs strengthen.
Question on ACs. Would D be correct if it didn't include "ethnographic" as a qualifier?
Thank you Kevin this is helpful. The "pleasing scale" helped this click into place for me.
Agreed! I would love to get an explanation for bridging the assumption between pleasing and preference. I chose A, which I understand is not a strong answer, but I am struggling with the implicit pleasing assumption In B.
Question - could you reasonably argue that just because the bird population increased over the winter, doesn't mean it increased over the entire year? I realize that doesn't show up in the ACs but wondering if that is a valid gap to identify.
Question 9 - why can we infer it would be safe to consume by humans?
Thank you!
