Thank you so much for listening. I really appreciate 7Sage for promptly responding to student feedback. @

Also, a big thank you to the student service reps for their help in resolving this issue. @ @

Users, who are paying for this service, shouldn't have to suddenly accommodate and manually "skip" hours of built-in material to adhere to their original study setup/plan. CCv2 was better BECAUSE "pre-made Problem Sets in CC V1 which were removed in CC V2 because the Drill feature is better"

Why should we suddenly have to navigate between two different website versions and have to manually skip or ignore hours of video to match the original setup 7Sage provided? It's really illogical and inconvenient to the users testing for the November LSAT.

Users pay 7Sage for an easier LSAT study experience. The fact this was done without warning is incredibly inconsiderate to the CCv2 users still taking the next five test administrations.

Just adding that is much easier for users planning to take the new LSAT to collapse or "checkmark complete" the LG section for the time being than it is for current users to have to completely switch versions and accommodate their study schedules.

@ Thanks for letting us know!

It would be great if 7Sage could publish a new version (v3) with LG included or include a temporary option to disable or enable LG on CCv2.

Removing LG from CCv2 makes the curriculum navigation very annoying, and it defeats the purpose of tracking progress. If CCv2 was going to be for the new LSAT, then it should have been first published as such.

There are still five test administrations that will use the current test format. Since a significant number of current users will be taking those tests (and have been using CCv2), it doesn't make sense to not provide a single site location with the complete, updated curriculum to use and track progress.

Do you know who on the 7Sage admin team this issue can be forwarded to?

Frustration with LG removal from CCv2

Not sure if anyone else feels like this, but I believe 7Sage’s decision to remove LG from CCv2 does a disservice to those who were currently using it to take the LSAT before August 2024.

I have been using CCv2 for its streamlined approach to LR. Now, I have to go back and forth between two different versions to access LG and new LR. I also have different sets of completion progress data due to using CCv2 for the majority of my studies. Not sure if this is unique to my profile, but it is very jarring and stressful to see sometimes. I’m not sure if this is just me and I should get used to it? Any tips?

Is it possible for 7Sage to include a CCv3 (CCv2+LG) or a feature that disables the logic games section for new LSAT test takers?

Should I PT with approved extra time?

LSAC approved me for 50% extra time on both MC and writing, but I've only been practice testing with the 35 min split.

Should I switch over to practicing with 53 minutes per section? I figured it would be better to be accustomed to finishing within 35 minutes rather than take all 53 minutes.

Would one be more likely to make mistakes finishing (ideally) with 35-40 minutes and having extra time to go back? Or is it better to be more thorough with each question and finish within 50-53 minutes?

I have ADHD and GAD, and the timing/clock countdown gives me a lot anxiety.

Does LSAC send law schools all of your writing samples (within the 5 year timeframe) if you retook it? Or do they only see most recent sample?

I retook the writing last November because I wasn’t happy with the writing sample I had on file from a year ago. I also took the January test and have the opportunity to take the writing sample again. I am ok with the quality of my retake sample, and I don’t want to take it again if only the most recent is submitted. But if all of them are sent, I don’t see the harm in submitting another sample so law schools can see that the quality of my writing does not vary dramatically.

I have received several, contradictory answers from LSAC, and none of the support staff could directly locate the exact wording under LSAC’s policy or guidelines.

I understand, in the grand scheme of application review, the writing sample doesn’t hold much weight and is required partly for a plagiarism check. But, again, I see no harm done if it gives reviewers access to additional writing.

Hi y’all,

I am taking the Jan LSAT, and I am trying to decide which day to take the test. I’m testing remotely and am fortunate enough to be completely available for all offered days (Wednesday through Saturday).

Is there an optimal day to remote test to avoid issues from Prometric’s end? Does the system run into more difficulties on Friday or Saturday? I’m assuming more people take the test on those days. Are there more glitches on first day?

I took the Nov test on the 2nd day, early in the morning, and didn’t run into any issues.

I understand testing/proctor interruptions are ultimately random. Just wanted to see if anyone had some hunches?

At the end of the day, whatever happens, happens. Best of luck to everyone studying!
