AC E is a perfect CC example of an Absense of evidence flaw.
"Absense of evidence is not evidence of Absense" - Donald Rumsfeld
I would strongly recommend udapting your app. Tweak your PS and update your resume.
I’ve spoken someone from admissions to the law school I wanted to reapply to with that same question and she told me it’s best if I updated it. She said by sending in the same application that tells admissions that you are not trying and are not serious about their school or becoming a lawyer in general, so overall it’s a bad idea.
I would try speaking to someone from admissions either phone call or in person to get a better sense of what they are looking for in reapplicants. If you can speak to them in person that would be extremely beneficial. That way you can leave “a face” to your application and leave them with a good impression by your interest in the school because you reached out to them!
Good luck and I hope this helps!
Hey 180
I had made the same assumption as you but I came to realize that that assumption is what the test makers want you to assume. If we take a step back you'll realize that the AC is really leaving the paradox unsanswered. It does this by leaving you with a parallel in temperature between C and T and since we know T is ALWAYS 10 degrees cooler regardless of the time of day it would make more sense for T to have the higher utility bill and not C. I hope this helps!
My feeble little mind confused base for canopy and vise versa so I thought A strengthened, ugh.
This is a really good question that I would like answered too!
Sorry I couldn't be of much help ):
Hey Keets!
I'll try to take a stab at your question. (First time, yay!)
I think AC (B) is another way the Test Writers use to describe a Sufficient/Necessary flaw.
Unlike AC (A) which fails the descriptive test, you have to make the extra inference that there could be many other possibilies for a planet to sustain life rather than just having liquid water while keeping in mind the S/N flaw
I'm pretty sure other Qs like this will come up if it talks about growing crops, let's say:
My crops will grow only if it is planted on fertile soil
I'm planting on fertile soil
---------------------------------
Therefore, my crops will grow
"Fails to address adequately the possibility that there are conditions necessary for growing crops in addition to planting on fertile soil"
Hope this helps!
I am studying from11-8 with an hour break in between (M,T,W,Th,F) at my local library. I want to push in a couple hours over the weekend but I get too lazy lol. I am trying to look at some volunteer opportunities at my local County Court, to combat burnout and to hopefully give me the drive to study over the weekend.
If anyone out there looking for some volunteer opportunities law related, I would check with your local courts, they may have something out there that might suit your needs and their hours are very flexible! For instance, I didn't know my County Court had court watching, court surveying, and domestic abuse support programs out there for regular citizens with no law experience!
Crud, i don't think I'll be able to make it on Friday. Hopefully, I can join towards the end ):
JY almost gave me a heart attack when he marked off B
The drag racers just outside my bedroom window. They provide the most obnoxious sounds that nothing would be able to trump that on test day. If I need to escape them, then I would go to the library or nearby coffee shop!
Count me in! And thank you for hosting this event!
Perfect example of False Dicotomy flaw
I kept on on reading this as Mango-Blanket. Jeez I need some sleep
