Regarding the Q1 prompt: "Despite the health risks associated with such a surgery, I've decided to go ahead with the operation. With my current medical condition, there may not be another alternative."

"Despite the health risks..." is certainly a concession, but the answer reveals that "...I've decided to go ahead with the operation" is the conclusion and that "With my current medical condition, there may not be another alternative." is its premise.

Isn't there not really an argument here at all? Earlier we saw that "I'm hugging you because I missed you" was a statement/explanation relationship rather than a conclusion/premise one, and in this question it appears to be a similar case (ie. "ive decided" is a declaration instead of an argument). What am I missing here?

New Format (Aug 2024) Study Syllabus

Hi all, apologies if this question has been asked already (I've looked to no avail),

I'm planning on taking the August 2024 exam (without LG), but so far have been following the old v1 syllabus (I'm still on the CC). It appears a lot has changed with the v2 syllabus. Is v2 specifically tailored to the post-LG exams, or just an "update" to v1? I'm curious about whether it's better to start anew from the beginning of v2, or to continue with v1 and just skip LG sections, or to ignore 7sage's study schedule and blend the two syllabi.

For those of you also in this sort of situation, what are your plans?

Thanks

In general, is this "lawgic" notation standard or used widely outside 7sage/LSAT prep? Or is it just a basic format that we use here for those of us not already familiar with other types of set or logic notation?
