my issue w D is that 'leads to factionalism and secret deals' isn't an explicit elimination of that option. it is a reasonable inference to make that committee-forming isn't viable, but I feel like the LSAT writers are typically more direct and explicit about these kinds of things. of course, all the other answers are pretty much doodoocaca but this gave me enough pause to comment on it
i did the same thing; it seems that the 'might' is in conflict with 'unreserved', not 'optimistic'. i think the term unreserved is what makes the answer choice too strong for this question.
