156 Diagnostic to 176

Saw another thank you 7sage and thought to write my own! I took my first diagnostic and was heartbroken considering my goals included top schools and I was concerned about taking on debt. I used this program for around 7 months before my test and getting my score back was one of the happiest moments I have felt in recent years. To think nothing is off limits because of this website still makes me tear up. So overall, I just want to thank the developers and the teachers for making such a great impact on so many peoples lives!

I think that because it says "the' general assembly rather than "a" general assembly makes a difference. Though I agree that this question doesn't feel as absolute as others. Also in regards to the same date/different date they both do state today and I think that in conjunction with it saying "the general assembly" Implying they are both talking about the same one makes it more clear cut

I've been wondering the same thing, i wish we could have a "build your own" prep test tool where we could mix and math segments

The conclusion states to keep power as long as it can not simply keep power indefinitely. The AC E states that they have lost power but we have no way of knowing that not being socially responsible would have changed whether or not they lost power when they did. Answer choice E would have been correct if it had stated that being socially responsible caused the businesses to lose power earlier than if they had not been socially responsible

Not sure how fast you are able to do the sections but personally if i know i cant get myself to read a question right i try and save it for the end rather than brute force it. my brain is pretty stubborn so sometimes i just need to leave it for later. It doesn't always work though most of my misses on LR are from not fully reading the prompt correctly and missing a key small word.

One of these days I will learn to read every word as equally important instead of skipping over smaller words. i operated this question as if 50 times was necessary

Definitely got caught up in the binary thought in this question. Assumed not dislike leads to like

Personally when reading i presumed that the suggestion of the ice age would more strongly support the idea that fires were used to keep warm considering global temperatures would have dropped. In my mind that answer choice would weaken the suggestion that fire was used to cook food

Question 8 got me during the test but my brain didn't even comprehend the word suspects. Always seems so obvious when watching the video afterwards

I think a big aspect of this is the sentence in the passage which states they flew from a running start. If the dinosaur needs a running start to begin flying, then that could account for a significant time to reach flight and access the tree whereas presumably starting from the tree and gliding down would put a gliding dinosaur in a more advantageous position than a dinosaur attempting to take flight by running first. I too chose answer choice E during my timed test but switched to A as I feel like a dinosaur who glides from trees would be more likely to build their nests in trees rather than on the ground.

I never did blind review because i hadn't considered spreading it out over multiple days. I personally do my test one day the following day two sections and finally the last two sections of blind review and that has been very manageable for me. Trying to d it all in one day not only takes up so much time but also will likely mentally exhaust you. Doing it over multiple days help make sure that you can dedicate all the time needed to blind review and each question

A gap year can improve your score so long as you use the time to study! I am currently in a gap year planning on taking my first LSAT this summer and I do not regret it at all. I was able to focus on my GPA finishing college and then was able to focus my time towards the LSAT

Personally I always do practice sets timed and then blind review following which allows you to both check your speed and also be able to check your fundamental understanding
