I was also confused as to why we can't use the contrapositive here and also chose A. But the contrapositive would be "gov not justified in interfering > doesn't increase the likelihood of harm to others OR motivated by desire to help others." So even if we could use the contrapositive here, Jerry's actions meet the two necessary conditions which don't trigger the sufficient condition of the the government not justified in interfering. Someone please check my work but I think this is correct!
I get what you're saying here! I think what you're saying is a better reason to eliminate E than what JY said. I'm not convinced by JY's reason for getting rid of E. I guess it would be an assumption to say that the critiques are inefficiencies and it's not a reasonable assumption to make.
Thanks for sharing and congrats!! 14 point jump is huge! Wish you all the best!
I'm so sorry about this. I'll be very nervous after submitting my apps and waiting to hear back from schools so I feel for you! I have also heard from multiple LSAT prep/law school admissions companies that this is a very slow cycle because of the LSAT taking issues and also the Supreme Court decision on affirmative action. If you think you can score higher in the Jan LSAT, absolutely take it! And definitely send a letter of continued interest, although I'm also not sure when exactly. That's great you will also take a tour! Meeting with people from admissions really helps because it shows them that you are very interested in their school and puts a face to your application. As someone who has been working toward going to law school for years now, was rejected from all schools one cycle, and will now finally be reapplying, hang in there!! It's taken me some time but I've finally realized that for me, the most important thing is to become an attorney. If I don't get into my dream school, it will all still work out. Wishing you all the best!!
Late to the party (per usual) but would love to join! Was recently diagnosed with ADHD, this is exactly what I've been looking for!
I got an email yesterday saying if you're taking at a center, you can schedule Sept 26-27 and if remotely, you can schedule 28-29. Hopefully you got the email!
Absolutely BR RC! It sucks to do tbh but I always score higher in BR because I catch where I read something incorrectly in an answer choice, maybe didn't understand the passage well, etc.
Im in Northern Utah, wish we were closer! But I hope you find someone!
Applying in November is def not too late! I just read about this an interview between Spivey (law school consultant) and the U Michigan Law School Dean where they discuss this very question (https://www.spiveyconsulting.com/blog-post/dean-z-podcast-part-1/). She says that if you apply before the end of December, many law school admissions still consider that "early." But she also emphasizes that it's always best to submit your apps when you know it's your best app, NOT by some arbitrary deadline you've made for yourself. So whether your best app is ready by November or February, you should submit when it's your best app.
Thanks for this tip! As someone with recently diagnosed ADHD, I've been trying to find methods of how to focus and study better. I have taken the test with foam earplugs so you can definitely use those on the test but I do wonder if they'll allow silicone? I feel like it will be totally up to whichever proctor you get on test day. I usually use my airpods just to block out background noise while studying (no music) but I guess I should be studying with the foam earplugs so I can be really used to it and it doesn't feel different on test day. Any other tips you've found helpful as someone studying with ADHD? Thanks!!
I won't be available to tune in at that time but please post it as a podcast!!! I listen to all the podcasts!
You should've gotten an email yesterday (Jan 26) from LSAC saying that you're able to sign up for a time now on ProctorU! Maybe check spam folder?
I essentially have to make the same decision. I'm taking the Feb LSAT (took it in Nov but trying to increase some more). I also heard that it's better to send in your app ASAP and you can send an email to them saying that you're taking another test so please consider the score of this other test. They see that you're signed up for another test but I don't think sending them an email would hurt, just makes it really clear for them. I'm trying to get my apps in asap, just finalizing my PS!
I registered today, Dec 5, and am completing the section now. Hopefully it's not too late!
Thanks for sharing. Really needing some inspo today after receiving my Nov score. Can you talk about your studying strategies that got you to your final score? Thanks!
Me too!! My BR on LGs are always WAY better than pre-BR.
I'm interested! Mornings and early afternoon are also great for me
Congratulations!! I always see posts like this and like you, wonder when it will be my turn. I've recently gotten denials letters and it's been devastating. I'm realizing I need my score to improve so I can apply next cycle. Thank you for sharing your story! There is hope!!
Wow that is amazing, congratulations!! As someone who has been in DC for 4+ years, Georgetown would be a DREAM! I'm hoping for a low 160s which is why Georgetown would be a stretch for me...any Georgetown specific tips? Thank you so much!
This is awesome, thank you so much for doing this!!

I took the exam tuesday and had LG-RC-LR-LG. I cannot figure out which LG was experimental. Can anyone with one LG give some insight? One game that sticks out had music duets with violinists and pianists I think, and it was difficult for me. I remember my RC having passages about a spanish novel being ironic and another was about a bill restricting women's labor laws. I can't remember an LR example off the top of my head, but so far I haven't seen any familiar questions on this forum. I'd probably remember if I had seen something or not.
I had an RC with a spanish novel being ironic as well! Did not have women's labor laws but did have tipping employees and hominid evolution. Did not get to the 4th reading passage...yikes. Also had 2 LGs and trying to figure out which was experimental.

Any one knows whether Powerscore will release a review podcast for this October LSAT?
I'm sure they will! Not sure when yet but I'm watching for it because I'm interested to listen to it!
I'd say it's absolutely worth it! They predicted the EXACT test they would pull from on the last administered LSAT flex. They are really good at what they do and know the LSAT extremely well. It's too bad they are charging now because I've listened before and haven't paid.
Congratulations!! That is amazing! Appreciate all your comments. Getting to the end of the dark tunnel that is the LSAT seems so, so far away right now. Good to hear this.
Thanks for your response!
