i am taking the LSAT in September for the first time and I need at least a 160. I scored a 145 on my first cold practice test. Is it possible to make that big of a jump in scoring in such a short period of time??

are schools required to contact you / update your application to "denied" if you're not accepted? a few of my applications have been "in review" for over a month now and i wasn't sure if i will still be contacted if i'm not accepted.

If you can provide your section breakdown (ex LR-1,LG-4,RC-12,LG-8) that would be helpful in diagnosing your issues and where you need to study.
LR-9, LR-7, LG-8, RC-12
i took the september LSAT, and i think nerves and lack of timed pt's played a large role in my low score. I'm trying to make at least a 5 point jump, and I want to make sure i'm being as effective as possible when studying. what is the best way to evaluate your weaknesses and improve them? my lowest section was RC, and i struggle with timing on LG. i've been taking two timed pt's per week since the september LSAT, but i'm not sure what the best method is when going back through your wrong answers. any tips!?!?
So i took the September LSAT, and i didn't get what i needed, so I will be taking it again in November. I haven't started applying anywhere since my score wasn't high enough, but should i be starting my applications? I already have my letters of recommendation, and I want to have my applications completed by the end of December. How much time should I expect to set aside for the application process, and should I be starting now even though I'm waiting on my next LSAT score?

To be honest i can't even remember which LR questions were in which section. I did have the LR-RC-LR-LR-LG, so which one does the dolphin one fall?
for me at least, dolphins was 3rd. the 1st section asked about the apartments in the houses. im almost positive the 2nd section was real. not sure which section was experimental

Not if you're wasting your time on here asking if its possible :p Adding 15 points to a score is not small potatoes. It's definitely possible though, especially if you got your 145 without answering any LG questions.
what do you mean by "without answering any LG questions"??? as in without doing the logic games core curriculum??
@ same, i love ted talks especially!
the wording in this question really threw me off.
i'm beginning to feel extremely discouraged and unmotivated just a few days before the test. starting to feel like regardless of what i do/how hard i try in terms of studying and preparation that it just isn't enough. i know this is a terrible mindset to have going into the test, but i'm having a hard time feeling/thinking otherwise. any advice?
i 1,000000000% would've skipped this question if it came up on the actual LSAT. even after watching the explanation i don't think i wouldv'e picked B.
@ Gotcha! Thank you! :)
