We know that everyone will be excited to discuss what was on the September 2018 LSAT, but here are some ground rules:
✅ Saying that the test was hard/easy is okay!
For example, you can say "LG section was hard!"
❌ Don't talk specifics about the test. (e.g. "I got B for the main point question of the judicial passage" or "the 3rd LG was sequencing") It can get both us and you in a lot of trouble! ☠️
✅ You can say which sections were real or experimental.
For example, asking questions like “Was the LG with "flowers" experimental?” is okay. You can say “The LG section with "flowers" was real!”
❌ You cannot say “the 3rd game of the real section was In/Out game.”
TL;DR: PLEASE don't talk specifics about the September 2018 LSAT!

Just wanted to say thank you. I improved from a 152 in June to a 163 today. Im so happy. now to finish polishing off applications!

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like they lost traction and intensity that you had leading up to the September exam, spent all your energy on the week of the test, gave your best on test day, and now the drive + motivation is somewhat defused? I can't seem to pick up my pace again (and it's been almost 3 weeks already).
If anyone is going through the same phase, please let me know you're out there! Feels like I just went through an intense break-up and in dire need of SOME closure (aka September score).

LG: employees/booths, opening performances with artists, department store sales, forgot the other
LR: I had 3, 26 q w dolphins, 25 and 25.
RC: opera,plate techtonics
Games and RC destroyed me. I’ve been -0~-3 in games and only attempted one question on the last game.
RC killed me I easily missed 11.
LR seemed relatively normal to me, I finish two sections with time left which I rarely do on PTs.
Probably gonna cancel.

Yeah I was looking forward to making up for my garbage RC but LG was difficult. Is the curve really -10? That frustrates me. I feel as if this is definitely a -12.
The kindness/respect question absolutely destroyed me. Could not figure out what was going on at all.
For those of you who are pretty good LGers, did anybody else find this section particularly difficult? I made mega improvements in games. Went -0 multiple PT’s and my average was 2 or 3. I didn’t even get to attempt the last game. I don’t know if it was nerves because it was my last section and I felt the need to be perfect to compensate for my train wreck of RC, or if maybe the games were more difficult than I though. Seemed straight forward enough but the infrineces that I can usually just put in my head and roll thorough the questions with seemed to be absent or very tough to find, for me. Appreciate the responses as I’m wondering if I need to put more focus on LG for my next take as I started not drilling it after I was a consistent 0 to 3 5-6 PT’s in a row.
I had experimental LR, RC with opera comparative passages was real and so was the LG section with the musicians accompanying performers

I had RC LR LG LG LR. First LR was expiremental.
One tectonic plate pumped into another and said, “sorry, my fault!”

raises hand I (mistakenly) thought I was sensing an experimental vibe from the hard section bc of all the weird questions! I had picked up such good momentum from the first two sections and was high off the thrill of it and then BAM. Rotting wood ink. Desert fleas. Hating on dog people. Why?? Why?? :(
This is test is significantly more difficult than June’s. Especially RC and games( time consuming)...
That LG was a doozy. I was counting on that to boost my score but now I'm not so sure :(

I honestly don't even remember having a question about 5 people and 7 shifts so I'm pretty concerned right now lol.

Why am I so anxious it makes no sense!!! Like I should be working on my personal statement but I simply can't concentrate with this uneasiness. I also felt this way, but then I realized there is literally nothing I can do but wait and that I am going to have to write my personal statement regardless. Try to enjoy the temporary time away from the LSAT(which hopefully will become permanent after Saturday) and keep chipping along at your personal statement- even if its 3 well written sentences a day!
It was a really tough exam! I had 2 RC and of course the one that I messed up was the real one. I too usually get -2 or better for LG and only attempted 2 questions for the musicians game. hopefully the exam goes down as one of those -14 but still 170 curve?
This was my second attempt at the LSAT, I was hoping for a pretty big score increase because of my PT's but unfortunately I'm claiming an L on that goal.
From reading the comments it does sound like the Musician LG passage got everyone and so did the Shelly or Plate Tectonic RC passages. I personally had to guess on the majority of the questions on the last sections of my RC and real LG which also happened to be the two passages I mentioned above. So who knows... maybe the guessing gods were on my side but for now all we can do is wait :( This LSAT was a time crunch like non other but I guess maybe it's better to feel less confident in my performance than overly confident... right?
Hi all! Does anybody remember having the high fat diet and domestic iron mining questions?
My two cents: felt like this test was easier than July. LR seemed especially easier. LG didn’t have any weird setups but I agree with others that they were time consuming.

I actually thought the author was far from ambivalent on the Law passage! based on various words I had circled he definitely wasn't impressed with the Shelley court. hope I didn't take away the wrong message haha

RC - The comp passage was probably the easiest. The law passage was very difficult, because it used a two layered logic in its reasoning and the author was ambivalent on the topic.
LR - The experimental section was very difficult. The other LR sections were reasonable, and I would say about average. Not too many time waster parallel reasoning questions, except for a super long NA question.
