If you're registered for an upcoming test, pushing it back could reduce some stress. Otherwise I think a few days off could be all you need. If you feel bad that you're not making "progress" you could do a couple 1star LR problems and an easy passage
October and November: best time to apply
December: good time to apply
January: fine time to apply
February: a bit late

There isn't a December test so you'd be pushing to be ready to take the November test to you have a score back by 11/27/2024. If you wait until the January test, you won't have a score back until 2/5/2025
Would it be more beneficial to do the Legacy version to maximize practice problems, assuming I'm taking the test before August? Or should I practice real life testing situations and focus on the modern version?
Have you tried taking an untimed section? Maybe you're just feeling the time pressure
