just read all comments. seems like same questions for LG and RC.

RC was difficult for me, but it is my worst section so that could be big factor.

LG was easy .. got stuck on first simple game i think it was nerves but came back to it and realized how simple it was.

LR was okay i guess. Had a lot marked but i think because i wanted to come back if I had time. I would say on harder side for LR but again, I think i didn't find my groove as quick so that could have been it.

LR-LG-RC

overall, not sure lol . If LR went well for me I think i score around my PT.

Literally the same thing as taking PT on lawhub, nothing else so just take it as a PT and don't overthink it. Im ab to not look at lsat shit for at least a week and get v v sauced. good luck to all

I would say find PT that have LR in section 4. That way you can do the first three like a flex exam and not have to worry about having two LR sections in first three sections. I still do the fourth section for practice though

August Exam

For anyone taking the August exam, what are you guys doing one month before to prep?? I am scoring just little lower then I want on PT but I'm not trying to get caught up in the numbers and just focusing on drilling my weaknesses (RC, some LR).. I just want to see if anyone has any tips or can share what there doing one month before test.

Thank you and best of luck to August test takers!!

What I started to do to help take the most similar tests as the flex is I look at what section 4 is on PT and take it if its LR. That's because the first three sections will be LR, LG, RC just like the flex and I will sit down take them 3 in row like the flex. Not sure if its just me but I think that helps get similar to the flex exam.

I still will take the last section of LR timed for practice though.

On test day should we be going through every answer choice ?? because like you said, you choose A until you found correct AC, but in the timed situation should we do the same? I did the same mistake but moved to next question, then saw C was better in BR.

Advise

I took what I thought would be my last PT before the august exam today, but bombed it. I usually go -2/-3 MAX on LG and kinda rely on my LG section to get score I want because it makes up for bad RC score, but I went -8 on such stupid mistakes today and whole score dropped like -6 of what I usually average. Definitely a confidence killer and I am not sure what to do. Should I take another PT Tuesday to boost confidence (hopefully) or do I just drill the rest of the week and go into test day with this being my last PT?

August Exam

I am scoring just a few points under my goal score on the past couple PT and noticed a trend. For LR, I am usually getting 13/15 correct on the first 15, and then shit the bed on the last 10 ish and go -10 for test section. Does anyone have any similar problems? Should I just drill more difficult questions ? maybe i should skip 15-20 and jump to last 5 ?

thank you

not sure what do to

just got my results for the august flex and was about 3-4 points off what I needed/wanted. Really disappointing to see it because I went through a rough 4 and half months and wanted to just never look at the lsat again. I know it would probably be best to take again but like i dont even know where to start or what to do for prep until the november test. I am a senior in school now so I have other work to worry about and an internship so I cant even put all my attention on it like i did this summer. The score I got is about 4 points off the 25 percentile in my top three schools so it would be a reach, but my gpa is just under the 75th percentile so not sure if i should roll the dice or just prep and take again. helppppp

I feel like this is more of a sufficient assumption and not a necessary assumption question.

Good idea. Honestly, once you do a lot of the MISC games, you’ll realize the only difficult part is the game board setup ( at least for me) because it’s not your ordinary game. Once you see past that and not let the MISC game throw you off, you’ll be getting them all right. Keep working

there have been a MISC game on a lot of the most recent tests so it is a great idea to do them and get familiar with games that are not your normal grouping/sequencing so they don't surprise you on test

advise

I am scoring about 4/5 points lower then goal score, but on those PT I am getting -5/-6 LG . This is my best section and I am usually lower then that but lately have been higher and not sure why. I know I can go -0 or MAX -2, but not doing it recently. When I BR I just shake my head because I fix the couple little mistakes so quick and wonder how I even ended up at that AC timed. I have full proofing all LG from 1-35 now so maybe it's because I have been doing too many games ?? not really sure and looking for advise to tweak up LG before test. Thank you!

The only ones I got incorrect was confusion between strengthen and moss strongly supported questions, and some sufficient assumption and pseudo sufficient assumption. Is this a common mistake and is it alright if I do make this mistake? #help

LR help August Flex

Any tips for the last month to help improve LR section? I seem to be making the same mistakes on timed PT and I think it is because of time pressure and not the difficulty of question because I have a solid understanding of all question types. If anyone has any advise to do in the next month to get more comfortable by test day that would be hugeeee help.
