B is wrong because it is still attacking the second document. What AC B is trying to do is destroy the analogy between fatty foods and cigarettes, they are trying to trap you into thinking that since the analogy is "wrecked" then it follows that governments should continue to prevent the advertisement of cigarettes and even make it illegal to do so.

What are the two statements in conflict?

1. Governments are justified in PREVENTING the advertisement of cigarettes

2. Cigarette advertisement should remain legal.

With resolve reconciles questions, the goal is to find the AC that will say "Actually governments can still prevent the advertisement of cigarettes while still keeping their advertisement legal.

You have to make it so that both arguments/conclusions remain valid and strong.

Tactic for doing LR

I usually don't make any notes or map things out on the LR section and I usually score between -5 and -7. Should I be mapping out every single question?

I see JY maps out every question, should I be doing the same?

Not sure if this helps anyone but this is how I was able to understand this question:

Specialists treat people with back injuries either with Drug and Therapy or with therapy alone. We are told that people will have the same outcome with either recommendation. Think about it this way, if someone is involved in a severe motor vehicle accident resulting in a severe back injury their doctor might recommend therapy and drug to maybe release the inflamation. Now think of someone that has a slip and fall, they might have a less severe back injury and might only need massage rather than oxycotone + massage. So, what did we just assume? Well, we assumed that all back injuries are the same rather than the fact that there are various degrees of severity and doctors will recommend the most effective treatment plan depending on the type of injury. Think about if that person that was in a severe car accident was only given therapy alone and no drugs, they might not recover as well as they would have if they had the combination treatment (drugs and therapy) which contradicts the idea that using either treatment plan will yield the same result.

I hope this helps, please let me know if my way of thinking is flawed.

Canada -Ontario Applicants

I have a question for Canadian Applicants. I applied to 4 Ontario schools, I just wrote the LSAT this month and I know I didn’t do well. I am already registered for the January exam, does anyone know what would happen to my application if I cancel my score and just use whatever score I get in January?

I had LG-RC-LR, couldn’t finish the last game and guessed the last 10 questions. RC was brutal and didn’t finish the last passage. LG was normal I think. Writing again in January if anyone wants to creat a study group

November LSAT Flex

Good morning,

I am taking my exam this Tuesday November 10th.... Yikes! It is my first time taking the LSAT so I am not familiar with the process at all. Can someone please explain the process on the day of the exam, everyone I know has done the exam in person. Also, if anyone can offer any advise that would be great too.

Thank you in advance!

Might be a little unrelated but how did you improve your RC score to -3?

RC and Flex

Hi everyone,

I am now on the last stretch of my studying as I will be writing the LSAT for the last time in January. As I am doing the older prep test I am struggling with the RC passage and being able to adequately highlight key sections. On my November LSAT I wasted a lot of time highlighting key words or MPs and I am trying to find ways to still do that just like JY without spending too much time. Any recommendations on how to get through passages quickly and efficiently would be super appreciated.
