Hi! So I had a completely different life in finance for 16 years and decided to change course entirely. I always felt being a lawyer or the ability to have at least a mastery of the law was important but my career was going too 'fast and furious' to take a step back. Both my parents are lawyers and I think (if I do well enough on this exam to get into a decent law schoo!) I will be a pretty good lawyer and certainly a very passionate one. What really finally got me to reexamine my priorities was the current administration and all of the lives it is negatively impacting. Money is important but is not everything -- so, with a little luck and a ton of studying, ill probably be the first hedge fund manager to quit the industry and happily do a lot of pro bono work for those that cannot afford representation on their own. I know this sounds corny and idealistic but that's the story! and yes, my family thinks I am completely insane...

Stimulus & rules - Reading too fast!

This isn't a question so much as an admission of idiocy that to date I haven't been able to break. I read question stem and rules too fast and often assume something incorrectly. My panic over time constraint is a total psychological mind f***. Notwithstanding knowing that this is my issue, I continue to fall prey to this anxiety. Maybe posting this publicly will be like a "first step" in my rehabilitation ;)

I want to work in fashion law. My cheesy goal in high school was to make it illegal to sell things made in sweatshops in North America. So, something along those lines still, just more realistic.

You mean to sell things in North America that were made in sweatshops elsewhere, right, not things made in sweatshops in North America?
