Translations with cannot and without.

I am having difficulty translating statements with both cannot and without. For example:

A business cannot change its core corporate philosophy without becoming a different corporation. Would I translate this as, [if a company changes its corporate philosophy-> then the company becomes a different corporation]?

Hey Miranda,

I have been studying since this time last year, Ive often wanted to give up but reconsidered my motivation which would not allow me to give up. There's alot of things that you need to learn for the LSAT and as crazy as it sounds it may take an extremely long time to fully wrap your mind around everything. If I were you I would get to studying rigorously now and come September, decided if you feel prepared for the October LSAT, if not, thats okay just keep studying and keep deciding a month before the upcoming test dates whether or not you're ready. It may or may not take you a year, but if I were you I would not take the exam until you're fully prepared. I have taken the test a few times, when I wasnt ready and definitely regret doing so.

I understand completely now, thank you so much!!! Your second explanation really filled in the gap for me. I really struggle with Flawed method of reasoning for some reason, but I just realized that I still have more flawed lessons, so hopefully they help me understand each type! Good luck with your exam!!!

Thank You! I have reread your post multiple times which has finally lead to me understanding. The only point that I am a little unclear about is, how do we know which sentence in the premise is sufficient and which is necessary.

I have negated all statements to what I feel flows. This is what I have so far.

Premises:

chance -> ~support

econ -> ~support

Conclusion:

econ -> chance

At this point I can't figure out how exactly to find the flaw?

Game with Star rules

Does anyone remember which game Ping drew a star to indicate the shared rules between each entity? I would like to review all abnormal game types before the June test and was wondering which PT that game is from. Also I would love if anyone would share any game they feel is different than the cookie cutter games we are used to, we can all be better prepared if the LSAT can't throw us any curve ball games, like the Feb circular sequence game.
