This is so awful. Doesn't sound like fair testing conditions at all. I took mine at the University of Lethbridge in Lethbridge AB and our proctors were great. Very knowledgable, completely silent during the test, plus i had at least 2 metres of desk space to work with since we got a giant room and had only 15 people taking the test that day. Compared to mine, it really doesn't sound like you had a fair shot.

To cancel or not?

Hey guys,

So I took the test today and I totally messed up the logic games section --- I ended up guessing on the last five questions. I think I did okay everywhere else, I may have guessed on a few reading comp. questions and one logical reasoning, but not a disaster like the logical reasoning. I was really hoping for at least a 165 to get into my top choice school... should I cancel my score?

If they didn't give you the full 35 minutes for a section isn't that grounds for a complaint? Idk for sure, just wondering.

Did anyone else have a trial reading comp section with mutliple science questions? I had it first and it was so hard, I keep getting mixed up as to which ones were on it, I know one that had two part passages I think. Anyone else have that? Hoping it was experimental lol, the whole test feels like a blur.

Wooden Pencil Woes

Okay am I the only one that thinks this no mechanical pencils rule is a load of bs? I literally have blisters on my hands from sharpening pencils. And how am I supposed to do logic games with these blunt things?!?! Seriously lol. Has anyone found any techniques to deal with this?

idk why they just can't have a real release date and then tell us if it get's delayed like a real freaking business. How is this so hard? I need a 168 to not have to re-write, a 165 to get into my safety school. Just tell me what i'm doing with the rest of my life please LSAC.

You guys are the best. Thank you!! That makes so much more sense. I agree now that E was over-reaching by speaking about institutions, which isn't mentioned anywhere in the paragraph, as well as a widening disparity, which also wasn't mentioned anywhere. I now know what to look for on similar questions in the future. Thanks again!

I'm just wondering where people have seen the most success. I'm at about a 168 and looking to score 170+. I've been trying to get through the whole curriculum, but many parts of it seem way to broken down (with concepts I already understand), and i'm wondering if going through them is really a good use of my time. In general, do people pick and choose which parts of the curriculum they want to focus on, or just power through all of it? Thanks!!

PT7.S3.Q07 - the labor force is often

I'm so lost on this question. It asks which statement would most appropriately continue the discussion at the end of the passage. I ruled out A, because of tone, and selected E. However, apparently A is the right answer. Is anyone able to explain why? I knew the question was a little sketchy, and circled it for my blind review, but I still couldn't find the right answer. Thanks friends!

This sis so awesome. So well written too. You obviously have an incredible understanding of the games if you are able to create one this splendidly! Have you written the test yet?

@ the most recent that i've done so far is 57, other than that I think i've done 7, 9,11, 19, and 20...or something like that anyways.

I should add that I did do about a week of prep two years ago focusing almost exclusively on logic games, so I think that has helped my score up until this point as well.

I do tests, mark them, and then review. I've just started doing the blind review method, and I totally see the advantages in that. I also watch videos for almost every single logic game since that's where I tend to struggle.

Thanks guys. I've just began studying, and haven't done any formal curriculum. I've just been doing tests and watching some 7sage logic games videos. I also read through a little bit of an exam kracker book on logic games, but my performance in the sections just seems so inconsistent! 168 is indeed my timed score, and i've done six tests. I often get 100% or really close on the logical reasoning, and then I either bomb the RC or logic games.

How to break through a plateau?

Hi friends,

I appear to be in a bit of a dilemma. I'm registered to write the Sept. LSAT and have been practicing steadily for about two weeks. I'm scoring consistently around 168, which I realize is fine, but I just can't seem to break through that plateau. My struggles will either always be in logic games or reading comp, but sometimes I get 100% on reading comp so it really just doesn't make sense. My gpa is low enough that if I want a chance to get into a decent school, a 170 would really be an asset. Does anyone have any advice on how to break through and gain 4-5 points before the exam?

Thank you!

Taylor
