Yeah, I watch them to make sure that I'm accurately identifying the main conclusion. I think it will always help even if you get them right
Heyy, for this type of question, I tend to use the highlighting tools. I normally highlight context/someone else's opinion, the author's argument, and the premises for the conclusion in different colors, and that helps me differentiate the different elements, then you just go to the answer choices and I feel like it's been helping. Of course, you need to be able to identify those elements, but I feel like colors help, since we can't really write notes around the stimulus
For the being late example,
Would you say that since the first premise indicates the necessary condition, you would need a second premise that indicates the sufficient condition in order for the conclusion to follow logically?
For example:
Premise 1: Necessary
Premise 2: Necessary
Conclusion: Invalid
vs
Premise 1: Necessary
Premise 2: Sufficient
Conclusion: Valid
Would this be true in all arguments?
