i blanked out when i did the section but the failure to find vulcan and AC B could still be ' inconclusive negative evidence' in my opinion, but the fact that the failure to find vulcan was perceived to be a mistake of newton's theory and then later newton's theory was shown to be incorrect indicates that at least the failure to find vulcan was used to disprove something. the initial failure of newton's laws to correctly predict uranus's orbit was not used to prove anything, it was a dud. it showed that a theory can still be correct yet sometimes lead to incorrect results. although i think vulcan is not that conclusive either; ac B was definitely not conclusive at all.
My RC is slowly improving. No lesson really helped me besides the question type advice. I think you just need to read every passage very thoroughly and focus on the words; make sure you study enough to where the structure of a passage becomes natural to see and kind of a background thought, to help allow for the details to be remembered well.
