I got confused.
Is an acceleration of business demand for the development of new technologies the same as an acceleration of technological change?
To me, it is like demand change vs. technological change

Q8 Choice B seems to be better than other choices. However, I don't think it is inferable, based on the passage, to say realism in SA and NS are different from political realism for the sake of art purpose. In the last paragraph, it is said that though by different means, SA and NS were reacting to "the ideological rigidity of the Cultural Revolution", which is more like a political motive for me.
