Burnout and Logic Games

Hi! I study 6 days a week, Saturday through Thursday. I take Fridays off, and PT every Saturday. With about 70 days left until the October exam, it's crunch time for me. I definitely look forward to my Fridays off, and it's helped me not burnout but I'm wondering if it's ok to study on Friday for Logic Games only. Does anyone do a few Logic Games every day??

I just don't want to burnout...because I get bad test anxiety sometimes I blank out/can't focus on reading through the dense stimulus on LR. But Logic Games, is something I don't want to forget also. Hope I'm making some sense. It's 1:13 am right now for me. Thanks~~

Hi! I am taking in October. I'm in the same range as you 155 - 158. I just want to break 160!! I'm taking PT 80 this Saturday, and reviewing it on Sunday. Every Saturday, from PT 80 leading up to PT 89

#help I watched the video for explaining why answer choice (A) isn't the flaw but I still can't understand it completely mathematically/visually . Can someone try to explain somehow with numbers?

Struggled with this question because I didn't know the conditional logic of Some. I know how to diagram, but I didn't memorize that" A some B, and All B is C, then inference A some C"....how important is it to know this?? I'm currently studying it but do I have to be very well versed?

#help (Added by Admin)

I just took the LR sections on PT 65 today. For both sections, I seem to run out of time. The first section with 25 questions, I had 5 minutes left to answer the last 5 questions. I got 17/25 right for that section. The second section with 26 sections, I had 5 minutes left to answer the last 6 questions. I got 20/26 for that section.

I mostly get Qs 1-(17-20) right with 2-3 errors in those questions.

Then towards the end of the section Qs 17-26, I get half/most of them wrong.

For the first 10 Qs, for each sections, I had 22-23 minutes remaining.

I'm not sure where to focus my studying so that I can improve. Tips?

Hi! I also kept on repeating the same game until getting all the questions right and in time. The more you keep doing them, you will pick up patterns! Have faith in that. I think with a solid 2-3 weeks of drilling Logic Games , you'll be able to see your skills improve. Possibly faster if you really put in the hours. Also, as you do PTs, 7sage's Analysis will tell you which game types you struggle with.

Sometimes for "misc" games or "grouping games" your own intuition of drawing diagrams might be set up differently from others', but you'll have understood the rules and still get questions right!

#help How would you diagram answer choice E? For conditional language practice. The "only for" is confusing me.

"Reduced stress diminishes susceptibility to illness only for people who are under enough stress to impair their immune systems to at least some degree."

#help I got this question wrong b/c I tend to panic when I see "conditional language."

For Answer Choice A: How would you translate that into a conditional statement? Is "Only when" = to "Only if", which indicates a necessary result?

I noticed from the past 4 PTs, my problem areas for LR are RRE (Paradox), MBT & MSS, NA, and Weaken Qs.

How do you drill your weaknesses?

Do you drill for one week on say RRE?

Or do you drill one question type on one day, the next day you do a different question type?

@ Thank you! I really do need to focus on my wrong answers more deeply.

I've been studying for 2 months now, but I'm not sure if that studying is helping at all because of my PTs! My raw score seems to be decreasing...with every PT. I'm freaking out. Can someone please advise me on where I need to focus my studying to see increases?

7/31- PT 80: 158 (RS: 70/101)

8/7 - PT 81: 157 (RS: 69/101)

8/21 - PT 82: 153 (RS: 63/101)

9/4 - PT 83: 157 (68/101)

My strongest section right now is RC: 21/27(PT 80) , 18/27 (PT 81), 20/27 (PT 82), 20/27 (PT 83)

LG: 18/23(PT 80) , 19/23 (PT 81) ,14/23(PT 82), 16/23 (PT 83)

LR: getting lazy with writing it out but it ranges from 13 - 15 right on the "harder" LR section, and 16-18 right on the "easier" LR sections

Please help me. I don't get why my scores aren't increasing when I'm studying so much. When do you start to see gains/increases in your PTs after studying for so many hours? I'm not seeing progress...

#help had a really hard time understanding how to translate "Not worthy of serious study —> not [reveal something about human condition]"

Can someone provide more examples like this, along with the conditional diagram? Thank you.

#help I originally chose B. The loopholes that I pre-phrased for weakening were (1) What if the ancestors didn't raft on debris?? What if they flew? or Swam? and (2) What if the closely related species aren't ancestors?

Are these valid loopholes that I can make?? Or am I wrong for making them because they attack the conclusion/premises? Thanks in advance for replying!
