hi all. I wrote an addendum to explain failing a P/F class in freshman year. Not an excuse, but the program I was in was notoriously known for disorganization and lack of support. This along with some other factors including a grandparents death and hard transition to college, contributed to the grade. I said how I raised my grades after and my GPA went up. Is it okay to explain this even though it may look like I'm making an excuse for my performance? I don't want to raise attention to it too much and give the admin team any red flags.

Hey! I'm in DC and taking august and november and i'd be interested!
same! I was averaging 162 but got a 156 on August. Im struggling to find out what went wrong. All I can think of is the RC section was particularly difficult for me and I felt less confident on it (but still confident on all of the LR). I find so many people have been saying that was a particularly difficult RC section, more than the usual PT.
#feedback these skill builder drills in particular have been so helpful in strengthening my conditional logic. please come out with more of these with the different indicators from all groups...I've done every one!
I have accommodations but was super surprised (and also annoyed) that my testing center was really loud. I mean I could hear people (including the proctor) talking and laughing just outside the testing room. It was super disappointing and distracting as someone with attention struggles : (. They give you "noise canceling" headphones, but mine were huge and caused more distraction to have on my head than it was worth. Anyone find this to be the case with their testing center?
from what I understand yes? I am waiting to sign up till I can get the 8/10 test date bc once you sign up you cant change it until later
confused about "always" (question 5.2 and 5.4). should I consider this a group 4 indicator as well? #help

Hi. I have a lower undergrad gpa (3.4) and am aiming for top 35-ish range of law schools. I know I need my lsat to be in the high 160s and I think this is doable, but i'm extremely worried about the gpa. I am 2 years out of (a semi-prestigious) school. Any suggestions?
I got mine off amazon a couple weeks ago. It said it was backordered but only for a few days.
interested!
on est too!
I've heard differing things- can you take your own earplugs into the lsat testing center? Thanks!!
My first LSAT was 8/24 and I got a 156. My most recent one was 10/24 and I managed to raise my score to a 166 which is odd because at the time I was Pting around 160. Even recently I have not scored a PT over 166 at all. I am signed up for November but i'm thinking of canceling and just applying with the 166. My GPA is not the highest (3.3) but i'm burnt out and working on apps. I almost think i'm scoring worse now compared with 2 weeks ago. Should I chance it but risk getting a worse score than 166? Any advice?
Okay, I've been basing my applications/chances off of the admissions predictor on 7Sage......problem is I just looked the the predictor on LSAC and my odds look ALOT worse. I know LSAC doesn't have the option to choose what month you apply but even still the disconnect is making me nervous. Anyone know why this is and which is more accurate?
I'm in the same boat- this is my first lsat and its lower than I had been PTing and also about 5 points lower than the median of the schools im looking at. I'm taking again in Oct. Please leave any advice!
