You can do it. I have improved steadily since incorporating some of the study habits of friends that wrote the MCAT and JY's podcast guests.

Schedule out your studying:

It will be easier to get in long hours if you know what you need to be doing

Take breaks:

Good studying for 2 hours is better than bad studying for 3. Take a break at a set time, or just when you feel a little gassed going through a CC or BR. You don't want to practice being sloppy. The caveat there is that if you feel gassed 30 minutes in, you likely need to work up to a point where you can safely study the LSAT in 105-minute and 70-minute blocks. You need to be able to do that on test day!

Make time for mindfulness:

JY's CC stuff on mindfulness is fantastic. It will go a long way in helping you with the grind. Mindfulness, like anything else you learn in studying for the LSAT, is a tool. Once you've got the hang of it, being at ease while under pressure will become second nature.

You can do it. You can do it. You can do it.

Keep hitting refresh... I hit it about 3 times per page but eventually every single page loaded.

I think they are likely quite time consuming for JY, but I completely agree that they were helpful. I listened to the almost daily until I ran out! The sages offered excellent insights into their test day success.

Awesome job! Congratulations. Was there a big shift in strategy for you, or was it just knowing the test material better that accounted for the jump in score?

I mostly just go through questions I got wrong; I watch JY's explanation and read the comments on the video

studying in line for Star Wars?

I’m waiting in line to see Star Wars. I’m doing some LR. Is my divided focus conducive to... undoing some of my learning?

The same question could be asked of waiting rooms in a doctor’s office

Took me 47 minutes to do a logic game during my first week of studying. A new game takes me no more than 13m now. Do not stress! You will be great. Keep pushing.

Did anybody else's proctor try to tell them they were not allowed to use scratch paper or a writing instrument?

I told her as politely as I could that she must have been misinformed, and a few minutes later she came back saying sorry and started the test...

Editing BR Scores

I converted a PT to the paper format so it would be easier to complete a broken test and submit my answers afterward.

Where can I input my BR answer choices? Without BR answers, my analytics could be a bit askew.

Canadian looking to study in the US

I have recently started studying seriously for the LSAT. I am looking to attend law school in the US. Afterwards, I would like practice in the US.

Are there any limitations on an international student's ability to get hired out of law school and work in the US? After my undergraduate studies, I came across this issue in applying for entry-level positions - nobody wanted to sponsor me for an entry-level position. Are there any other considerations I have to make aside from visa sponsorship?

My apologies if this is vague... I know very little about how a Canadian might practice in the US!
