Harry Potter's Friends ‑m→ Wizard
/Harry Potter's Friends ‑m→ /Wizard
Draco Malfoy →Wizard
The conclusion says that because Draco Malfoy is a Wizard, he is probably Harry Potter's friend. This is invalid. Being a wizard is not sufficient for being Harry Potter's Friend. If you read the Lawgic backwards you might think that it is true, but it is false because we are not able to do this.
If one is named Cody, then one will score above 170 on the LSAT. My name is Cody. Therefore, I will score above 170 on the LSAT. J.Y. SAID IT IS VALID!!!!!
I think that the disconnect actually occurs in the difference between "The right of future generations to have their artistic heritage preserved" and "the rights of any presently living individual". Being that "rights" is plural, it infers that it is more than just the individual right of having their artistic heritage preserved. I was caught up on this as well. After reviewing the correct answer I noticed the distinction.
I was confused on this as well. I interpreted this as a negative comparison. In my opinion, we are just thinking about it in a deeper level than the exercise is calling for. In his breakdown in the video he said "We do not know. There could be more evidence or there could not be." With that being the case, I feel as though my breakdown is not incorrect.
I broke it down like this:
evidence that humans act selfishly vs evidence that humans act unselfishly
which occurs more often
they could be equal or there could be evidence that they act unselfishly more often
