There are different techniques used for each section of the LSAT. On the RC section, you need to read the passage. You need to read it like a Reasoning Question. This takes me 3.5 minutes on average. I am an excellent reader, and I have read these sections in two minutes, which would work if I were reading a Tom Clancy novel, but this stuff is dry -and uninteresting. You have to be in the mindset to suck this info in. I don't mark up the page with lots of symbols, I mark the different viewpoints. I look for the key point in each paragraph. I underline that part. I put a V by each viewpoint. Timeline, you should be able to remember chronology without going back to look, and you should be able to remember where to find the answers to the questions, by memory, you don't want to have to reread a paragraph. I hope this helps.

They say it turns grey as late as 8pm eastern.. we are safe until tomorrow
I am disabled, I took the test under regular conditions this time. In September I am taking it with accommodations, I get 53 minutes a sectionan 3 30 minute breaks
They won't let you take them on separate days, but you can have longer amounts of time and more breaks.
I make a lot of typos too, I call it happy fingers.
I disagree on both counts. They are not going to consider your job at mcdonalds in deciding if they are going to accept you into law school. Not for a second, a New York sevond are they going to consider that you were a cook at McDonald's other than to demonstrate you had a job at one time... i agree that a first time 173 is better. It just just demonstrates your preparation level. You can actually add an adendum to state why you scored poorly your first time. You shouldn't say things that make no sense.
Oops, just saw it was revived

My guess is tomorrow @ 4:30pm EST. Let's see if I'm right!
I'm with you, I think tomorrow afternoon, 3pm eastern
You guys are killing me reading comprehension has to be a monster for some of you. If Harvard says they take the highest score, they take the highest score. If your first score was a 155 and your second was a 173, that probably demonstrates you didn't prepare the first time and prepared the second time. I have said this at least 20 times. No one will score a 170 unprepared. That is why we are here. A person may score a 160 unprepared but that is a hard one to sell. I saw a post yesterday from a guy who said he scored a 180 and didn't study. That's just BS. You have to at least take a couple of practice test to see what the test is about... figure out LGs and such... experience in a job. It has to be a real job, it can't be working at Mcdonalds as a cook. It has to be a professional job if it's actually going to be considered.

I jumped up 7 points from my highest ever PT and got my dream score, amazing
congrats, I got my dream score too. I was incredibly lucky, it could have been a 167 if I hadn't guessed correctly.
I am sure you will have a score in the next couple of hours, unless they are having a malfunction
I use to be an explosives expert
I know they said there is no rhyme or reason, he is from Indiana and I am from Texas.
go with the 168 and hire a recruiter who you can get references for to help you get into any college you want... If you got a killer GPA, you can get into almost anywhere, definitely T14
I got my score 15 minutes after going grey, my friend who is in Vegas with me got his almost immediately upon going grey.
I scored a 173, want to hear a miracle story, I completed 23 of 27 reading comp, I got all 23 right and guessed at the remaining 4 and got 3 correct. I didn't finish the last LR section, I had three remaining and guessed. I got 2 of 3 correct I swear to god, I thought I would miss all of those...
Thanks guys, It was fun waiting with you all, if any of you are in Texas I may see you.
Dan
My friend got his score he scored a 156
I only suggest making your application the best you can. While Alex is correct, scoring a 170 your first time is better than retaking, if you score a 170 and you application sucks you aren't getting into H,Y or S... no matter is you are in the 75th percentile
Alex, are you a graduate of law school? Or have you taken the lsat and been accepted? Or are you like many here, and taking the course and just now taking the test?
Uhinberg, there is no valid theory concerning the release date and the new president of lsac. The last 6 lsats have been released either one or two days early. If the score comes out tomorrow, then it stands to figure that things are normal at the lsac. However, ifvyhis isntvreleased tomorrow, then we are treading on new ground, and it could be for any reason. I mean I could legitimately make up 40 valid reason why it hasn't been released yet, but it means nothing, because we don't know, and probably will never know why there has been a change in the release dates from four to six days a decade ago and 1-2 days in the last two years. I said last week it could be a decision made to be more consistent with release dates.
So instead of do, and someone instead of done one...
The scores have been released on the 4th before, it could happen again. For those of you who think that it takes a ton of work to post the scores, the work has been done. It is 2017, not 1917, the scores have been programmed to be released at a certain time. It could be anytime in the next 4 days... speculation gets you nothing and means nothing... this thing has already been predetermined and they are really good at hiding it, maybe it's randomly released by a computer, that is as likely as anything else. And done one said releasing it today would be a logistical nightmare, why, it's not like they got the questions wrong, you did, you don't get credit for screwing up your bubbles, even if you can prove you messed up.., the only problem might be if they posted the wrong lsat in the wrong place and that means you messed up filling it out. Do, this is easy stuff now.

My page just went grey.
Just kidding.
:D
Yeah, I knew you were a liar, my phone is set to make a nuclear siren the second it goes grey.
SAs aren't tangible??? I need to wake up
I'm going to Vegas today, so by 11 pm tonight until Thursday, I'm not gonna care. LSAC Sucks, if they had any kind of courtesy at all, they would release our scores...
Ok, do law schools have inside information. I had a problem with my application and the law school called me. They explained what I needed to fix. Then said the scores will be released next Thursday and it's a blackout day for them, she said they are getting the scores next Friday.
