Confusing sufficiency with necessity.

Moral order implies Immortal human souls

not the other way around.

So I found this explanation at the bottom of the page. It immediately clicked in my head after I read it, so I am moving it to the top in hopes that it helps others as well.

"In the stimulus, we have two hypotheses to explain a phenomenon. What’s the phenomenon? Those tones are pointing to a cool position of the sun. Hypo 1 says, “Wow, look at that, this must mean those stone builders are super smart.” Hypo 2 comes in and goes, “well, not necessarily, cuz it could be just a coincidence since there are so many of them, of course, it’s no surprise if a couple of those stones happen to be pointing at some “cool” directions.

What do we know from this exchange? It’s that hypo 1 has failed to establish their claim that those stone builders are super smart, cuz hypo 2 steps in offered an alternative plausible explanation — that it could be just pure coincidence. But does this failure of establishing the claim that they are super smart serves as evidence that they are not smart? No, it doesn’t. At almost we can say we don’t know why it’s pointing in that cool direction but we certainly can’t say they aren’t smart just bc we failed to prove they are, which is what A is saying. The failure (bc hypo2) of cited evidence (stone pointing to the sun) to establish a statement (they are smart) serves as evidence that the statement is false. (they are not smart)

Hope this clarifies a little. -Heart-Shaped Box"

ENJOY😊

So I got this question wrong during the timed section. During BR I was able to spend more time on it because I didn't know wtf veracious and erroneous meant. I looked up the definition for both then I was able to get it right in BR. I guess I have to work on my grammar more LOL

Try meditating 15 mins before you go to bed and roughly about 40 mins before bed you could just sit on your couch or bed and read a book that has absolutely nothing to do with RC passages. Find whatever calms your mind down, easier said than done but just breath. You got this!!

Only takes one

With the January test coming up this weekend I just wanted to throw something out there to give us hope. I was giving up hope but my brother and partner told me something that I'd like to share with you guys. "as long as you keep your mind in the right place you can do this, you have come too far to give up now, manifest that shit and it will happen!" Lets manifest this shit, the LSAT is hard as hell but we got this! Never give up, don't lose hope. I saw this on quote on Instagram a few days ago, "you don't need to get into EVERY law school to become a lawyer. All it takes is ONE."

We got this guys!!

I'm 24, 1st gen college grad and 1st gen American citizen. I wanted to go into law since high school. I grew up I a really poor family where my mom was a waitress and my dad was a cook at a Mexican restaurant. They died when I was 11 and moved to the middle of nowhere with family members I didn't even know I had. My parents always wanted the best for us and they gave up everything they new to come to the US in hopes of achieving the "American dream" and to offer us a fighting chance to a better tomorrow. didn't grow up in the best environment and had to work my way through college. held two jobs, was a full time student and also an athlete. So I definitely know what hard work is, this all inspired me even more to go to law school in the hopes to help immigrant parents and children getting they papers to also take grab of the amazing chance I was given. I also want to be a role model to my siblings and the younger generation behind me. experienced many challenges in life as well as social ones. I want to possibly go into immigration law and or human rights. I worked way too hard for this and I WILL MAKE IT NO MATTER WHAT!!

Cheers to a better future to us all!

I called in regards to this and the LSAC rep I talked to said that the Proctor will know ahead of time that you have accommodations. I assume its on your LSAC profile they receive. You can definitely give them a call to double check, the CSR's are extremely nice.
