Hey everyone!!

I'd really love to arrange a small study group with availability on the weekends to potentially do Zoom study sessions in preparation of the Feb 2021 LSAT! I was thinking we could do PTs once a week to start, then we can BR during the Zoom calls and discuss our thought processes. (I'm of course open to other ideas of what to incorporate as well.)

Comment your email address if you're interested and I can combine a group email thread!

Doing the low resolution summaries REALLY helped me. It's like, once I started doing them I could remember pretty much the entire passage without doubting what they were talking about.

Are the low resolution summaries in the CC?

The Loophole is great, in my opinion. The author isn't super technical and has an everyday-style writing voice so, seeing that you've gone primarily off of instinct and unstructured, you may actually really benefit from the easy-going style this book offers.

There's a lot of drilling to practice summarizing the stimulus, linking conditionals, etc. so it could actually help you tie some loose ends on those tedious technical details.

I'm hoping it'll help your confidence as you approach test day! Best of luck!

I have the loophole book and I refer to specific LR question type chapters/sections whenever I'm feeling stuck. Furthermore, the author has a way of compressing the information into very simplistic and digestible elements, so you don't have to worry about diving into a whole other resource and potentially getting confused with new techniques. The loophole book has a lot of "AHA!" moments :) hope that helps!

Hi! I also struggle with anxiety and a panic disorder. I ended up scoring a 176 in October 2020. I was using a checklist for every question so that I had no doubt on how to solve it and also had a method on what to do if I felt stressed or struggled with a question. Having a clear strategy for everything mitigated all my stress because I had a clear plan and direction so that I would not spin my wheels and make the most of the time. Making the most out of your study time is important as well. I studied for about 6 months averaging 2.5 hours a day. For example, I would focus all my energy on one question type per week and know it inside and out and then every time I encountered that question I knew exactly what to do. I would do a question and time how long it took me to get it. Then, more importantly, I would spend about 10-20 minutes on the one question to analyze the stimulus, how it was constructed, and the answer choices. It's just as important to understand why an answer is incorrect and HOW they are trying to trick you as it is to understand the correct answer. After writing notes and tips for myself, I was better able to identify patterns in reasoning that allowed me to go much faster--and more accurate--on the real test. Depth is far more important than doing PT after PT and it also helps with avoiding burnout from doing question after question for 5 hours. You really only need about 10 pt's to fully understand each question type and drill it. I'd be happy to give you more information and help you develop a strategy if you message me. Best of luck!

I have major test anxiety and would LOVE your input regarding your strategy, if you don't mind sharing? :)

Hey there!

Have you looked into accommodations for your test anxiety, such as additional time, stop/start breaks, etc? I honestly didn't even know it was possible until a previous tutor of mine made me aware. Let me know if you want to chat more about it & feel free to send me a PM!

One resource that helped me IMMENSELY with RC was the LSAT Lab on YouTube. Their videos are kind of cheesy, lol, but trust the insight. They condense RC in a very digestible way.

There are a few videos in the series, so I'll share a link to the first one :)

I hope it helps you like it has helped me!

Yes, they provide 1min in between each section :) I took a flex test a few months ago just to see what it was like so I could mentally prepare, lol!
