I think most of us can empathize! One thing I've had to accept is that progress with this test isn't linear. There are good days, bad days, and everything in between days. Something that has helped me stay motivated is to remind myself why I decided to go to law school in the first place. I visit the websites of my top-choice schools and see all the amazing things the students there are doing. I want to be a part of that and the LSAT is one of the things I have to tackle in order to get there.

@ LSAC will email us when it's time to sign up. The directions for picking your slot are really clear and the process is pretty straightforward. They usually email about 2-2 and half weeks out.

I think there may be some confusion. The difficulties we were having yesterday were with ProctorU, not with 7Sage. Everyone was eager to schedule their Feb LSAT slot yesterday!

It took me a few tries but was able to get in. I just had to refresh a few times.

This thread is just what I needed! I too will be 39 this year and have been at this LSAT thing off and on for about three years. After seven years working in politics and governmental law I decided the only way for me to really get to the "next level" was to pursue my J.D. It has been a battle ever since. I finally decided to quit my full time position last August so that I could dedicate more time to studying but I'll be going back to work in a few weeks as my savings has been depleted more than I'm comfortable with. After two lousy scores I have decided that this time I will take the LSAT when I am ready.....though I'm aiming for an April take.

This has been one of the most difficult things I have ever done and I commend all of you for taking this on. There are days when I feel like I'm going to crush the test, and others when I feel like maybe I'm just not cut out for this. But.... I refuse to quit! Keep your heads up and keep forging ahead. Thank you all for sharing your stories and helping me see that I'm not alone in this.

yeah, we did all that. I've gone through my app permissions, settings, you name it. They were like "log in 15 minutes b4 your exam to see if your proctor can troubleshoot." Ummm..... on test day?! Aren't you tech support?!

I'll place a call to LSAC to let them know but this is insane. I just want to take the damn test and be done with it

@ thank you so much for your help & suggestions. I just got done with their tech support and they told me I should use another laptop. That my camera is working fine and they can't access because of security which is apparently a thing on some newer laptops. I'm at a loss, I'm so frustrated. I can't be the only person taking this test who has a new laptop, lol

@ yeah, it didn't work. tried removing and adding the extension, no luck.

NV...found the extension. Trying it now, fingers crossed....

@ this is gonna sound so stupid but I had it in Feb and now it's gone. When I initially set up my account ProctorU prompted me to download it. Do you know if we can access it through the Chrome web store?
