Last chance to postpone or not

Hi all. I recently switched over from the Powerscore books to a 7Sage course and things are going great so far, however, I don't know if it is too early for me to take the test. I registered for the September test far too early and have until Tuesday to postpone. I currently just finished Validity in the course so I have a good amount to go and don't want to rush it. The only thing making me second guess postponing is not hitting my target score in December and then having to delay my admissions until February with the February test which I have heard is too late to apply. Anyone have any advice on this?

Should I postpone?

Hi all! I have been studying for about two months now and initially had started out using the Powerscore Bibles but after about a month and a half I realized that their approach to the LSAT was just simply not for me nor was I a fan of their explanation methods but that's besides the point. Anyway, I purchased the 7sage course about two weeks ago and I love it! I certainly think that this is a much better approach for study and will complete the course with pretty high confidence that I will receive the score I want.

However, I believe I made the mistake of registering too early. I am currently registered to take the September LSAT and the deadline for postponing is August 30th and I am just not sure if I will be ready yet, or if I want to rush through the 7sage course to make myself ready by September. Before registration, I already had my mind up about taking it twice so I am definitely going to be taking it in December but do you think September is too early for me right now and that I should postpone? The only reason I am still contemplating postponing is that I don't want to only take the exam once (I have heard taking it twice is the way to go to ensure your maximum score) and I don't want to push back my second time taking it to February because I think February is too late. Overall, I am simply not sure what I should do. Any advice?

Reach, Target, and Safety Schools

Hi guys! I am applying for the Fall 2017 cycle and I am having a bit of a hard time trying to figure out which schools to apply to so that I have about 5 for each (reach, target, and safety). My question is, what is the difference between the three... Obviously the likelihood that you will be accepted, but what about the GPA and LSAT medians? Would a reach school be considered like 5 points below the LSAT median, or 10, or 3...? Just a little confused how much reach a reach is haha!

Study advice

Hey guys, I'm currently in the middle of studying for my first LSAT in September and everyone I know that is currently in law school advised me to use 7sage for the games instead of the Powerscore Logic Games Bible, does this sound true to you?

In other words, can I completely do away with reading the book and attempt to study from the Logic Game Explanations on 7sage? If so, how would I do that, or is there a better way that I should go about studying for these games that anyone advises?

Thanks for the help in advance!!

Hi all!! I am applying for this Fall's admission cycle and my law advisor is on sabbatical so it is hard for me to find someone to constructively critique my essays. If anyone would please like to review both of these essays I would greatly appreciate it. Just inbox me or comment here and I will send it over. Thank you to anyone in advance!!

1. My name is Dejaih and I graduate Dec. 20 with a degree in Law & Society (concentration in legal studies), and a double minor in Political Science and Sociology. I am a first generation college student and sports are my life having played since I was nine and my entire collegiate career. I also just completed an internship at the National Legal Aid & Defender Association in Washington, DC.

2. My biggest worry about my application is an addenda and my personal statement as I wish to separate myself from other applicants.

3. Two ideas for my personal statement are my hardships as a child and my passion and commitment to sports throughout my life.

4. I did not attend last time.

Advice on course purchase?

Hey guys! I'm currently studying for the September LSAT and I have been self studying with the Powerscore books but I feel like I need more explanation than they offer. So I am looking into purchasing a 7sage course.

Of the ultimate and starter, which would you guys advice and do you think this will be enough as far as course contents to increase my scores?

Also, if I purchase the ultimate and use it for 4 months (I am planning to take the December exam as well because I don't think I will be fully prepared for the September exam), is it a waste of money? Or should I cancel my registration for the September exam and stick to only taking the December exam?

What is the difference between Most Strongly Supported and Strengthening questions? I know the direction of support for the two is different but the phrasing in each question is relatively the same so it is a bit confusing.

Is it too late?

Hi all, I am currently registered to take the September 2016 LSAT and I have been studying but I just don't know if I will be ready to meet my maximum potential score by this time. I plan to attend law school in the Fall of 2017 and I was wondering if, even after taking the September test, it will be too late for me to apply to schools with my December score?

I don't want to take the exam twice, however, I think this is the best way to maximize my score and allow myself enough time but I also don't want to postpone until December and end up regretting not taking it twice.

Is the December 2016 test too late to use to apply to law schools?

Are you sure?
